I meant of course that I would dissuade snarkiness, unless Sumo really felt it impossible to resist (hence 'if you really must'). I am not known for encouraging snark, after all.

I am not. I don't understand how I can have given any other impression. When I said that I am not known for encouraging snark, that was precisely what I meant. I would have thought my dislike of that was well known by now.

Snarksters need to stick together.

Speaking personally, I think snarkiness (aka snarkocity or snarkitude) can have it's rightful place in the world. Oh, I agree completely. It is only when relentless snarkiness is made a virtue or as some implicit sense of superiority that I'm less sure of. It's so easy to insult something and pretend to call it wit. [/pious ;D] But I see we were all kidding anyway, so, yeah... And I know Sumo's brand of snark well -- it definitely isn't the cheap insults kind. So I look forward to that review! ;D

Know-it-all-snarkiness just totally sucks. Why do they do that? (Nevermind, I know why. Now Curt walks away, whistling, trying to act like he's never been a know-it-all snark. )

Truth be told these Mojo figures are pretty lackluster. I definitely have no interest in acquiring them.

The Sarcosuchus looks appealing...the sculpt is superior to the original, although the Procon suchus had finer, grittier coloring....

The only one of those I really think is better than the CollectA version is the Tylosaurus. CollectA's Tylo is a fat barrel with stubby paddles. Mojo's is a little better proportioned. I kind of like the Parasaurolophus as well, if only for the colour scheme, since it looks derpy with those hands posed as they are.
I saw some of them in the museum shop today, but I didn't really want to buy them.

;D Finally got some MOJO figures, too ;D Not the entire set, but just those that I liked. The others are so much like their CollectA predecessors. Tylo compared to CollectA and what makes this figures uniques is its tail... compered to CollectA and Safari's Sarcho Nice companion to the CollectA one. Slightly larger and different pose. Good diorama figures Para- nice head and pose, too bad they gave it a over-sized arms! ;D Compared to its predecessor Smilodon I have to say, this one is perhaps one of the best Smilodon figure out there... I like it better than the Papo and old Safari ones. It has a nice sculpt and surprising details Here he is facing off with Papo and CollectA smilodons Really, Mojo should corner the prehistoric mammal market and release those more. Their mammal, modern and prehistoric, are far superior sculpt than the dinosaurs. As a bonus, I also got the hyaena. Like the smilodon, it is a really nice figures, one of the best hyaena figure around. And the entire Mojo clan joining my menagerie ;D Cheers! ;D

As I have the whole set, I would have to agree here--their best are the non-dinos. The para would be superb if the arms were better (imagine a 'running on hind legs with front legs lifted pose, if they could have pulled that off!). Of course, you failed to mention that, like everyone else, the Smilodon is definitively male! Also, your Tylosaurus paint seems far more pronounced than mine--the green spots on yours appear very obvious and distinct, whereas on mine they are quite faint; the tail on yours is also painted more distinctly. (and your comparison is with CollectA, Mojo, and Carnegie, not Safari! ) I also like my hyaena, but the Safari one is still probably the best one out there; the Mojo seems to look too slender.

Picked up the T-Rex and the modern Lion and cub. All are really nice, espeically the modern animals. They are beautiful. The girl at the checkout said they just got those in, and more where on the way, so hopefully I can pick up some more of the dino ones soon.
