Thanks everyone. It's been hard to find the time to work on this but I'm really happy with how it is turning out. It should be available really soon. I still don't have a clue about cost, but it is very large compared to my other models about 7 inches tall and 9 inches long. I will hollow it out as best as I can without sacrificing stuctural strength, but it will still end up as the most expensive figure I've done in 12th scale. Thats why I plan on offering it in a smaller scale as well. What scales would everyone be interested in? What I didn't realize at first sight: No base this time? It'll have a base but I can make a baseless version available for those that want it. the sculpt is finished but I still have to do some optimizing and hollowing for the printing process. 1/40

1:20 and 1:40 scale versions are now available from my shop. I'm working on a 1:12 scale version but despite my best efforts it will still be very pricey (I'm estimating about $150.00). If you are interested in purchasing the 20th or 40th scale versions... here it is in 1:20: www.shapeways.com/model/339373/ here it is in 1:40: www.shapeways.com/model/338692/thanks everyone for your interest, Aaron

Sorry everyone,
I had some wall thickness issues with the 1:40 scale version, so it's being pulled for now. I hope to have it fixed and back up soon.

"Wall thickness problems with Shapeways? what? how could that happen? " he remarked with sarcasm. For the most part, I wait until I have a copy in my hands before I sell it! Even then it can still be cancelled.
It's a nice sculpt though! it looks like a Mudbox render?

D Thanks David, It's an honor to have you comment on my sculpt even if it's regarding shapeways problems. I'll take your advice and keep it down until I'm certain it will print. I think I got a little over confident after my Protoceratops printed without a hitch. The pics in this thread are either screenshots from zBrush or renders done in 3DStudio Max. I tried Mudbox once when it first came out, but I'm hearing a lot about it again. I'm wondering if I should give it another look? Aaron
