Just finished this 1/2 scale Stethacanthus. Carved from wood with Paleo Bond details it measures approximately 14" from snout to tail. I'm thinking of a more artistic base for it-perhaps a natural looking piece of wood. More photos here: s1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff419/modelguy2/

Very impressive work! I love how you captured the gracefulness of the shark. Is that a porcupine quill you used?

The spines are bamboo skewers, the type used for bar-b-qing
