Anyone play Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War?

Hi all,

I've been a fan of this game ever since it came out in '04 and have played it off and on since. Just acquired the last expansion, Soulstorm, and have been playing for a few days. Great to get back into it! Also great to see people still play it online. My fav races are definitely Space Marines and Tau. I still need to get a feel for the Battle Sisters and Dark Eldar.

I haven't played a whole lot of DOW2 but I prefer the original for many reasons including the larger scale of the battles and more unit variance.

Anyone else play?

I've played DoW 40K also (plus all the expansions). I throughly enjoy the game. And rather like yourself, I don't play DoW 40K II.

Do you still play? What's your favorite race? I even think it's a much better RTS experience than Starcraft.

I play (in order) as Space Marines, Tau or Necrons. However, I am starting to enjoy playing as Sisters of Battle.

In general, I don't care for the Eldar (either faction).

For strictly defensive wars, I will sometime play as the Imperial Army - decent defense but average offense.
