My friend wanted me to ask this....
"These guys apparently repaint the soft plastic models like Schleich and Papo... we have found in model horses that some tend to get sticky after about a year or so, do they have any solutions for this?I was told they get sticky because the primer/paint reacts to the plastic chemically and just makes it sticky."
Has anyone here had a problem with the model getting sticky after its repainted?

Has anyone here had a problem with the model getting sticky after its repainted? I use Testors Model Master (Modern Desert Sand) spray for a primer mostly. Or Tamiya brush acrylics. For the actual painting I use anything from Tamiya to Testors enamel to craft acrylics. All sealed with Testors clear flat. I have never had a problem with stickiness, even many years later.
