these Images were painted by me for a customer here on the forum (Jeremy) thought you might like to see them ,they are the very small 1/144 figures not the 1/72 series. The ankylosaur is .75 of an inch tall (3/4). i will get better with this size as i do more of them .so far i have only painted about 15 of these figures for people. take care. Attachments:

Hard to imagine you getting any better at this, Shane, they are wonderful. I'm inching closer to trying my hand at painting my Krentz's.

Beautiful work on those Shane..and at that scale too ! All jokes aside I still had to squint when seeing the image.. The temptation to acquire these only increases ..I have to resist though..just think if I accidentally left the Trike on the floor..I'd step on him, he'd impale me with those splinters above his eyes and it all get really nasty after that..we couldn't even look at each other. Okay, so I got one more " too tiny " joke in me.... ;D

Those are amazing! I love all of them, though the Edmontosaurus pattern is especially unique.

These are truly beautiful pieces, Shane. I can't believe how much detail you were able to pack in there. If you could actually get any better at painting these, that'd be truly amazing, as your paint jobs already astound me. I can't wait to see your paint up on my Tarbo dio. Btw, Chris, you need to order some of these. You won't be disappointed. I think these Shapeway Dinosaurs are perfect to create large(mini) dioramas. Can you imagine how cool an entire herd of Triceratops would look?

That is a good point bud...an entire table top of these would be pretty cool looking..crossing a river wildebeast style or something..a stalking Rex in the treeline nearby. ..of course a 1/1 juvenile Trike would also draw a LOT of attention as well...;D hehe

Agree with averyone on the Edmonto amazingness. The scheme somehow reminds me of the Dino Riders Saurolophus (just much better executed)

You know whats funny is that when i was painting these i thought the ankylo and the Tric was a bit conservative so i thought a paint scheme of a Tapair would be cool on the Edmonto so thats kind of what i did. Its wierd these build ups look so much better in person with the human eye than they do in photos. Just the opposite is true on larger kits. I wish everyone could see them in person as opposed to the image above but im sure once Jeremy gets them and looks at them in person he will get on here and say the same thing. ITs VERY hard to get great detail on these but i will do much better next time, oh and here are some more shots of more figures in the same scale that will be shipping to a different customer with a custom base . Also the 1/40th Tarbosaur for Jeremy has been wai shipped to him so he will have to show you pics of that when he gets it. sorry for the slow go on this but i was sooooooooooo busy. I try to make it worth the wait though, hope i did. . Attachments:

As you can see in this pic the 1/72 series in much easier to paint , lots more detail can be had compared to the 1/144 dudes, all cool little models though. I am getting a hold of David soon to get his 1/40th scale T-rex. I wonder how it will look next to my 1/40th Tarbosaurus?

That T-rex vs Ankylosaurus dio looks great, Shane. Btw, I've had that pic of your Krentz 1/72 paintups saved to my desktop forever. lol It's the image I looked at and thought "yeah, I think Shane could do a great job painting up these 1/144 scale pieces". Btw, anything you send me is worth the wait. My Apatosaurus still being the greatest piece you've done so far. I can't stop looking at her. I can't wait to see how good my Psittacosaurus looks when you finish it. I've been loving the updates on it so far.

Dont Forget Jeremy to check out the Torvosaurus in 1/20th scale that i did for Darren McDonald he has sold quite a few since he started selling castings, jump on this one . i can send photos if needed.
