My faves are... 1. Tyrannosaurus Rex- it's a pop culture icon, and also very interesting dinosaur. Noone can dethrone the King ;D 2. Styracosaurus- I love its frill and ornamentation. 3. Acrocanthosaurus- like Allosaurus but on steroids I kinda like Ouranosaurus too because I like dinosaurs with humps/spines BTW, Takama, where is that Dilo pic from?

BTW, Takama, where is that Dilo pic from? It's a model of Dilophosaurus used in Dorling Kindersley books back in the 1990s. It might have originated in the Ultimate Dinosaur Book but I'm not certain about that. Oh, and T. rex, of course. (Predictable, I know...) There's also something about Giraffatitan brancai and Triceratops (all species).

I tend to go for more obscure species. Cryolophosaurus, Scansoriopteryx and Masiakasaurus are currently some of my most beloved species. I'm also partial to Dilophosaurus. T-Rex is nice and all, but the idiotically high level of attention pop culture bestows upon it is ridiculous and insulting to the rest of 'em.

Tyrannosaurs for example may be overplayed but that is due in part to the fact that we know so much about it. They're one of the most studied and well known dinosaurs. For me knowing so much more about it allows me to appreciate it more. I cannot truly favor something like Cryolophosaurus based on one specimen...though it is pretty sweet. We've done this thread recently, here it is. dinotoyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=dinos&action=display&thread=98Some of my other favorites include... Ceratopsia: Einiosaurus, Pachyrinosaurus, Styracosaurus, Triceratops Ornithopods: Parasaurolophus, Hypsilophodon, Shatungosaurus Thyreophora: Kentrosaurus, Sauropelta, Stegosaurus Sauropoda: Camarasaurus, Diplodocus, Saltosaurus Theropoda: Dilophosaurus, Oviraptor, Deinonychus, Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus

If i had found it sooner, I would have locked this one down and sent you all there. As it is, that one petered out about a year ago, so I'll lock that one and people can keep on going here.

My favorite individual dinosaur is my pet - Cosmo, a Brotogeris versicoluris. Now for a list of species, (and I'll now stick to prehistoric ones for simplicity's sake): Triceratops horridus Deinonychus antirrhopus Coelophysis bauri Camarasaurus supremus Tyrannnosaurus rexNot exactly a unique lineup, but what can I say, I like the classics.

hmm... Lets see
Therizinosaurus- because its the biggest oddball of oddball theropods. Miragaia- its a paradox of a stegosaur Kosmoceratops- my ceratopsian's change, so this is the current one Teratophoneus- Its a different tyrannosaur, and it sounds cool.
