Hey all! I've been up for two nights in a row ( ) obsessively trying to find a pic I saw on the forum somewhere that has a very cool paint technique I really want to use as an example. The pic is of a model/sculpt/figure of a T. rex, if I'm remembering correctly, and I saw it within about a month at most ago, probably sooner. The paint scheme is kind of hard to explain, but I'll try. I'm remembering it being grey tones with whitish, translucent-like patterns on its back and sides. (Although, it might have just been a black/white pic.) The whitish patches are then connected with thinner, vein-like stokes. The overall pattern is kind of a marbling effect in a way. I think it was done by a very reputable painter/maybe sculptor that might be on this board or someone people might commission repaints from. I think I've also seen this technique before on other figures. But sadly, I can't find it anywhere on here or when google image searching. So, I know this is a long shot. But, if this rings a bell in anyone's memory, I would love to check out that pic again. Or at least one of similar style. Thanks much!!!

Thanks Joel! I had remembered seeing that one, and he is a beauty. But, I'm still thinking is was another one. I know it's a long shot, guys, and not that big of a deal. But, thought it wouldn't hurt asking, right! ;D Maybe I just dreamed of him. Hmm.
