The style is pretty neat! inaccuracies and anthropomorphization aside, I quite like the Kentrosaurs and the adult allo.
The choice of Santanadactylus seems rather strange...probably the author knew the stratigraphy doesn´t quite match but he needed a late Jurasssic big pterosaur for the story anyway (we didnt know of Kepodactylus by then).

I've seen Art Adams style in a few other places I do like it a lot..much like William Stout's. arthuradamsart.com/Yeah I'd never heard of the species before reading this to be honest...the name sounded cool I recall..lol The Early Cretaceous setting bothered me even when I was younger..I KNEW Allosaurus was Jurassic.. thanks to all the exhibits and such at the time.. ;D

That pic is beyond awesome! and mostly accurate, for what I can tell (except for the dromies)...doesn´t look like Kong might be able to handle that...
And yes, I dont understand why would he choose an early cretaceous setting with two well known Late Jurassic critters, instead of a Late jurassic scene with a rather obscure early cretaceous pterosaur (which could be interpreted as an ancestor anyway.) It seems more practical that way.

Exactly, Kong against a real Tyrannosaur is toast ! ;D Considering it's fiction and the story-line inaccuracies can be waved I guess.
Maybe because he mixed species..there is a Deinonychus pack as well. Perhaps he thought borderline Early Cretaceous and Late Jurassic ? Who knows. I can't any other info on this story..looked forever for a high quality online version.

Great comic! It's definitely very Disney, though. The Mesozoic equivalent of "Lambert, the Sheepish Lion."

I meant to mention this before, but forgot. If the title sounds familiar, it will be because of this Dali painting.

Niroot..that is interesting. I wonder if it has any relevance to the story's theme ? Seems like it might.
