Does anyone know if and when the BBC Planet Dinosaur shows will be aired in the US? I ordered a supposedly region free blu ray copy of the show, but after it arrived, it would not play because it was not formated for the players here in the US.

Yes, several reviewers have similarly complained about the compatibility of the version being sold on Amazon (which is out of stock, maybe that's why):

I have no idea why there isn't a dvd or blu-ray available for the US.
