Those are really well done! I would love to see you paint up the new running T. Rex like the V. Rex from the 2005 KIng Kong.

you are right, it does look like the king kong rex. should be here in a day or two. I want to do a model based on a Boa Constrictor. I might have to mute the colours slightly and the pattern size will be key! Glad you like my boys... the green raptor is a little patchy so might have to touch it up a little.

thanks Dinolord, would be great to see any other Papo customs. I had a look at a few of Copper's custom paint jobs and they are exceptionally good.

My latest effort...... I wasn't so sure about the markings but I dirtied him up a bit tonight and am much happier with it. I still really like the grey of the original though. Really happy with the lines of the back of the model.

Thanks for your comments. Would really like to see what others people have done to theirs. The other Paposaurus laughed at T's lack of paint job.

it's not so much of a glaze to be honest. The black acrylic I use has a certain sheen to it.
I'm looking at red tailed boa constrictor images as inspiration for the two T-Rex. I want to keep them quite muted though. Loving Copper's Gigantosaurus repaint (and all his other work) so I have to doff my cap to him.

woah! My running T-Rex has just turned up. A lot sexier than I thought it would be and not nearly as "king kong" as I'd feared. It's got a bit of a snaggle tooth which is odd but I do like the non-uniform teeth; artistic licence yes but still very cool. The original T-Rex teeth were awful rounded affairs and not very menacing at all. This guy really does mean business. Yes, his arms are too big but I'll forgive them that. Now I really want that Brachiosaur, anyone know when it's getting rolled out? ha how old am I still getting over excited about dinosaur figures at nearly 40
