Sorry, no. I have a friend who has a turtle. Anyway, our apt complex considers reptiles and fish as "exotic" pets, and does not allow them. Seriously, no aquariums even.
We had some large aquariums and a large box turtle named Dracula when I was growing up. He loved to chomp fresh strawberries from the garden.
I really have an emotional connection with the dogs, they are not pets, more like children.

Oh so reptiles are dirtier then dogs in the eyes of the public? I hate hat...
Same with cats, they're like independent children..
