Okay so I had the Dinotopia game waaaay back when I was in elementary school and had windows '95. does anyone know if there is a version available these days for OS that aren't prehistoric? (har har.)
I'd also like to note that I got every single solitary person in my Camp Fire group to fall in love with and play Treble with me every meeting and during lunch/recess at school. HEE. Actually, a couple of my friends and I still play it at parties, rofl <3

I bought it for the xbox a few years back. It was fun killing the Carnotaurus and T-Rex. It was too short though.

Just lots of walking around, and lots and lots of puzzles :U I might have to look the one you mention up though, I had no idea there were more!

Dinotopia game??! Where? When? How??? Well, apparently there's one for the x-box that's recent, but back in the day there was a Dinotopia PC game. Basically it revolved around a young guy, forget his name, I think... late teens or something? Who was taken by dolphins to the shore of the island after a storm demolished a ship that he and his sister were aboard. As the game begins, you know that she didn't show up on the beach alongside him. So basically you play this dude, and you walk around the beach for like... an hour irl and find different artifacts (shells, rope, etc) and hopefully eventually you will realize on your own that you need to go *into* the forest and basically... well.. the whole game you walk around and pick stuff up and do favours for random NPCs and meet some of the characters in the book and try and find your sister. it's a big-time wtfamIsupposedtodo game, leaves a lot to figure out. it's very long too. there was a strategy guide for it, which I finally ended up using after much frustration - and I beat the game. (found the sister omg lol) I was in 5th grade when I played it, and it was waaaay over my head. maybe I'm just kind of slow? either way, it makes you think and it's colourful and there are dinosaurs and it's Dinotopia therefore it's one of my favourite games. ....but it was, to my knowledge, only for Windows '95. which is why I'm curious if anyone has any idea if there's a version that runs on other operating systems. because I miss it.

^ Well most likely, plus the fact that PC games hit off way before video games did. I can't imagine the graphics would be good at all. How are they sepp?

How are they sepp? personally I liked the graphics. the player looks down at an angle to see the characters and where he is going, kind of like furcadia if you've ever played it. there wasn't enough detail to see the guy you're playing's face well, but I always thought it was really pretty. I thought the dinosaurs were good. my memory isnt' wonderful, however, but I do remember lots of lag :/

Sounds like that might be the jurassic park game that came out on playstation 1, might have come out on xbox. I remember you had to run away from a carnotaurus when your the compsagnathus and when your the human you kill a trex.

^ Naw...I played that too. The Carnotaurus had a problem..it looked like it was retarded or something. ;D Dinotopia is different...much less violence....I've played both. The JP Game undersized the T-Rex.
