I've got a link for my deviantart site on my profile, but I thought I might post some of my more paleo-related stuff here for you guys to have a looky at, any (nice, my ego is very fragile j/k ) critique on style and anatomy would be cool. A male and female pair of courting Chirostenotes pergracilis . I made the male a bit bigger and more, well, fluffy on the feather front. Both the size difference and the feathers are purely conjecture at the moment. But compared to extant species, it makes a bit of sense, to me at least. Archaeopteryx head study, it isn't smooth skinned, I just didn't draw the feathers all fluffed out. Think of them more like a pidgeons feathers than an irate owls lol Huenhepterus quinyangensis head study, with a really stubby beak Let's just say it's a colour study and not a study on anatomy shall we? A random mososaur, with some generic sea life. Not much for me to say on this one. Pterodactylus kochi, I enjoy drawing pterosaurs on the ground. They look kinda cool that way, waddling about. I'm not to sure about the cheeks though, they seemed like a good idea at the time. Fun Fact, this picture is almost life sized to a real Pterodactylus. Jeholopterus ningchengensis, another pterosaur waddling about, but now with colour! The colours are a lot brighter than the photo shows Me and my pet Generic Theropod - This is just a bit of sillyness I thought you all might enjoy Drawn back when I had blond hair and a tendancy to call any and all pets pookums. Despite that this was a bit of a joke picture, I'm still pretty happy with our generic theropod friend turned out. Righto, that was pretty long. I'll sporadically add pictures to this thread as I draw them but it wont be to often.

Cool I especially like the first one. The mosasaur looks more like a pliosaur to me?

I was going to make a new thread, but I figured I should try and keep all my artsy stuff in one thing lol.
Anyway, I'm looking at sculpting some pterosaur busts over the weekend, nothing big (can't find my large armature wire) probably about 3-5 of them. So this is where you guys and gals come in. I've already decided I want a Pterodon and a Quetzalcoatlus but that leaves 1-3 spaces left. So anyone want to make requests? Nothing to obscure - It's a little hard to do something based on a partial jaw fragment lol. I'll post photos when I'm done whether they work out or not!)

Okay, so we got Pteranodon, Quetzalcoatlus and Dsungaripterus. C'mon, throw out some more suggestions - We're talking about the 'Wacky World of Pterosaur Heads'! They got ornimentation aplenty. You're spoilt for choice! Don't make me have to pick, I'll pick something boring

And I know there is a lot of feathers here - If it makes anyone feel better, the protofeathers on the Cryolophosaurus were pretty much purely for the 'Aw COOL' factor well, it is an arctic dinosaur. The accuracy is fine for loose sketches, the only thing I would point out is that Ornithopods generally had much smaller antorbital fenestras (The hollow area in front of the eyes) than you usually see in theropods. (see your Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus etc). Other than that, it's exciting work. I like the technique on the Oviraptor and Iguanodon. What is that, pen+ink and watercolours?

It's pen and brush tip pens with water over the top. I've been doing a few more sketches in this style, I'll post them when I can get to a scanner.

New Picture time! I'm at my parents which means access to a scanner First up, Tyrannosaurus rex The head is a little small, only realised that when I started to colour it and it was a bit beyond fixing. And for all you feather duster lovers (and haters lol) Mei Long! If you're not a fan of feathers, that's cool just enjoy to colours One thing I will say, I kinda miss scaley little theropods for the pure reason of they were easier to draw!
