my 3 yr. old son is an avid figure collector (all he will watch are the Walking with Dinosaur collection and Prehistoric Park). He has been wanting a terror bird for some time and I have not been able to find one. I think the closest I came was a diatryma with a base attached to it but was sold out. Would anyone know a place where I could find one? His collection mostly consists of the Bullyland, Schleich, Papo, Carnegie, etc.

The Bullyland Diatryma has unfortunately been discontinued, and there are no terror birds currently in production. EBay France has a few Starlux phororhacus and diatrymas available, and there are some Kaiyodo diatrymas and Titanis occasionally on eBay.

Silver Dolphin put out a book called Totally Prehistoric Beasts (obviously inspired by Walking with Beasts) that had 5 models to put together, including a Gastornis. I don't think it is still in print, but it shows up occasionally on Ebay, and Amazon.com has one for ~ $20.

Great collection! All I have is the Bullyland and Starlux. They should make more.
