Safari really needs to make a couple other prehistoric marine reptiles for us...they at least need an Icthyosaur of some sort...of course I'd take a Tylo and Notho as well... ;D have you seen the sculpt of their forthcoming Tylosaurus? I was actually completely ignorant of that up til a few minutes ago..lol Thanks for letting us know about it...I'm really excited about both pieces...now if I can only hold out til next year..guess I'll have to... The Tylo reminds me a lot of the Dinamation animatronic...might have get two since a re-paint could be in order... ;D I'm pretty sure the spinosaur is Irritator...with that give away crest..lol...now I want to know if that's all te Carnegie pieces ( as if these two aren't enough ) and what could be in store for the Wild Safari line...

This really is what I like to see.... nice sculpture quality figures without the sculpture price you know ? Something we can afford...I love the sculptures I've seen in every issue of PT..but I'd be lucky if I could afford one of them. :/

Yeah, you could include the big Dilong for comparison. And then I'd probably steal it and post it in the blog, if that's OK with you

^ I have that spinosaurus, but it is brown, and in a million scattered pieces right now.
You said one of the hand claws should have been larger- do we even have any proof of that, or are you basing that off of suchomimus and baryonyx?

Great stuff--my only complaint is that the photos are almost too large for the pages!

I bet Schleich won't produce something that isn't mainstream ever again

I bet Schleich won't produce something that isn't mainstream ever again Well, they might have to, because of their new system. They are going to have 12 figures in the Replicasaurus line every year. No more, no less. Three will be retired, and three new ones will take their place. This is meant to drive a collector's market, since you know that the figures you see this year will be gone within 4 years. With a turnover of this magnitude, we can hope that there will be a need for better variety--or, it will be a continual attempt to redo the same 15 or so boring species (maybe they will eventually get a good T rex).
