NNNIICCCCEEE!!! Looks great, might be they improved on CG. Spino looks thinner and dirtier than JP III's, but still a bit too similar. Dracorex is back, glad they don't ignore past creatures (get it?). And looks they have more in store for us... didn't see Alexander Siddig in this trailer though. And hopefully Character Toys will make some excellent new figures of this series. They still owe us a Giganotosaurus in scale with the human figurez (meaning: a really big one!). Now if they could only work on character and story too, that would be perfect. But I take it the way it is.

Looks awesome. They really took a lot of creative freedom with Dracorex. Is it just me or does it look even more like a dragon than it did last season?
Looks like we get a cool fight with Spino vs. Dromies too.

Wow. I have reservations about this show (and only actually saw a handful of episodes from just the first season), but I confess I like the look of this in spite of myself. Now if they could only work on character and story too, that would be perfect... And that was precisely my chief concern with it. ;D They really took a lot of creative freedom with Dracorex. Is it just me or does it look even more like a dragon than it did last season? I don't know what it looked like last season, but it certainly does look very dragon-like. ;D

They are really playing up that Spinosaurus! Hopefully we didn't see all the best parts in the trailer. I'm really looking forward to Season Four. I watched Season 1 through 3 for the first time earlier this year and found myself really loving the show the more it went on. I even don't mind the speculative "future predators" since they are based on the theories of paleontologist Douglas Dixion. The only really problem this show has is trying to keep the same cast tied down. The lost of Nick Cutter in season three is what I think really pushed it over the edge.

That dragon thing was supposed to be a dracorex?! lol!
The creature designs look meh, they're well executed though, and I like the spinosaur's color scheme and that fact that it's actually there....

Granted its a quick lo-res peek, but that Spinosaurus looks very Tood-Marshall-esque!! Neat!

Never was a fan of this series, I must say... Tried to watch it from the start and quickly got pretty bored. I know it has several fans -specially here in the dino forum for obvious reasons- but the characters and the storyline takes my patience really away...
Could you recommend me a couple of REALLY GOOD (best of the best) episodes, to someone who is not a fan?

Correct me if I'm wrong..but doesn't the Primeval Dracorex grace the cover of the Fall 2010 issue of PT ? There is also some nice artwork in there by the fellow who designs most if not all of the creatures... Daren Horely : www.darenhorley.com/index.html

Could you recommend me a couple of REALLY GOOD (best of the best) episodes, to someone who is not a fan? None of the Primeval episodes are ever really good, they're just tremendously fun. This show is basically a huge guilty pleasure. The ones I particularly like (the episodes have no names so I'll use numbers and the creatures appearing in that episode): 1.3: Mosasaurus/Hesperornis 1.6: Future Predator/Scutosaurus/Gorgonopsid 2.1: Velociraptor 2.6/2.7: two-parter, featuring all kinds of creatures, but specifically the Colombian Mammoth and the Future Predators. 3.1: Pristichampsus 3.4: Giganotosaurus 3.8: Future Beetle 3.10: Future Beetle/Future Predator/Velociraptor/Australopithecus (cliffhanger!)

Thanks. Griffin and Roselaar. I'll give these a try. (Don't care if they aren't truly good, It's enough if they work as fun and the creatures are really enjoyable to watch)

I think they saw the word 'draco' and just went with a dragon! No they def know what it is. In the episode they talk a little bit about it and it rams a car with its head at one point and it is made known that it eats plants. I think they just took the rough image of the skull and then went crazy with it. The fact that it has no cheeks is really what does it.

It was episode 3.4 "Giganotosaurus" that finally got me to start watching the series. I also really like episode "2.1" with the Raptors in the mall. This show is also what made me a fan of Gorgonopsids as they repeatedly kick ass.

HOLY CRAP THAT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bit I do have one concern. Every second shot, it seemed was a Spinosaurus or that weird pig thing. In fact, it only confirmed 3 or 4 episode creatures.

The people could be cardboard cutouts with speakers to pass along dialogue, and people would still be watching for the creatures anyway. ;D

They most likely only show bits and pieces of (near) finished episodes, not of episodes still in the post-production process because they're not done FX wise.
