Cool stuff. Do you think in the far future you would ever change the colors on any of your models? Like a...series two or something? I have to admit that I have already been changing the paints up as i go- basically each batch is different- they are within the range of the original posted example piece, but different enough to make each one unique thechnically- I have wantd to mess around with different color schemes on these figures in the line- but haven't had the time for that yet-

I'm not sure which one I prefer Malcolm... they both look really nice from diff perspectives..I'd have a hard time deciding how to display it..lol Did you alter the pose by heating it up ? Yes, this urethane I cast in heats up nicely and gets real flexible-i have altered all of my pieces so far for different collectors- the dilo head for example is real easy to turn or move around to a different position to get different poses for a pack display-the dilos upraised leg has been put down onto the ground, tails moved around-etc.- if I take the piece out of the mold early, it is also possible to alter the pose at that time as it is still flexible if you catch it atthe right time- you can see that the third 'unmodified'piece's head is in a slightly different position than the first two 'unmodified' pieces' heads, this happened when it was removed from the mold and was still a little bit fresh, the head shifted a bit, but I figure that is allowable within the scope of being 'unmodified'---the head on this modified Acro was pulled forward a bit, and the neck split open, so i patched it in with epoxy putty- I wouldn't recommend any collectors messing with my pieces this way with heat--unless you have experience with this sort of altering- when pieces come out of the mold, there might be air bubbles or other imperfections that I patch with epoxy putty before painting- this inflexible material will not react the same way as the urethane- and may not reshape cleanly because of this-just a fair warning- proceed with caution-

Buy one painted and then repaint it like any figure you do bud, no problem.
Thanks for the warning Malcolm..I already had thoughts of alterations in my head..lol

Heh...hopefully it's something Saurian in nature .. ;D
Maybe Malcolm could take you on as a painting service and pay you in models ? That solve two problems right there...and Malcolm would have more time for sculpting, casting, ect.. just a thought !

But he'd also have to spend time each day to get to the post office, and buyers would have to pay double shipping (once from malcom, the other from kevin)
Kev, your birthday is coming soon, remember.... ;D
