Just got Age of Reptiles: the Journey #4 (of 4) by Ricardo Delgado ; published by Dark Horse. It's not exactly reading material as there are no words, but it's a (comic) book, so technically I'm reading it... Anyway, here are some random pageshots for those unfamiliar with it: Here is the splash page, where a bunch of plesiosaurs are sunning on a rock and then suddenly attacked by by mosasaurs, kinda like killer whales atttacking seals. The second shot is a story panel: Can't really explain everything that's going on here , but it's just to give you a feel of the storytelling technique. Anyway, slide on down to your local comics shoppe and pick these up pronto, you won't regret it!

I'm reading Restoration by Rose Tremain. Quite a fair bit removed from Dinosaurs. ;D

I should read something about parents / children - relationship for my job right now. But actually I read Hermann Hesse and the German soccer/football - magazine "kicker" (special issue because the Bundesliga starts soon).

Dale Carnegie "How To Win Friends and influence people". Very old fashioned book with the classic American ideal of a housewife to support the busy businessman. Like "Death Of A Salesman". Yet there are some good tips in there. Some chapters are really precious.

The Steel Remains. By Richard Morgan.
A no holds barred, brutal & non-compromising fantasy. Not my normal reading genre but I like morgan's takashi kovacs trilogy (started in Altered Carbon". Basically a scifi noir detective novel which was brilliant, uncompromising hardcore scifi.)

The Lost Symbol, by Dan Brown aka The DaVinci Code set in Washington DC Still a page-turner and some interesting info along the way. I was thrilled to actually recognize one of the clues; I have the Feldhase (young hare) picture hanging in my son's room and recognized the A/D symbol immediately!
