Mommies shopping for their kids wouldn't need to see "Perched for your Pleasure" to faint. They'd just need to see the price tag. ;D Too true ! Iol I think it's works well being a tiny bit suggestive..though honestly is the word " Pleasure " that suggestive ? Not to offend but there are a LOT of male collectors out there..and of course us Dino collectors who NEED more perched examples of pterosaurs..really do feel pleasure at seeing such a magnificent one.

..though honestly is the world " Pleasure " that suggestive ? No. So it's " Perched " ? lol Honestly I've no idea why it would be..I mean if it were a half naked mermaid on a rock say..then yeah I would agree there is something sexual there. Crap..you know I've derailed this thread a bit haven't I ? Sorry Dan.

Nice to see the Venomous Creatures Toob is released! It's the one Safari Ltd. toob of this year I want the most. The cane toad looks great and nice to see the scolopender has 21 pairs of legs. Needless to say the others seem awesome too.

It's my most anticipated, too. Toobs have improved over the years, but this one just seems a cut above any others. Their scale would probably make them awesome for prehistoric dioramas, as well - or at least, those that aren't too modern.

I love the venomous creatures toob--and they are BIG. Anyone that has the new sharks toob knows how big a Safari toob figure is getting, but that Komodo Dragon is appropriately a giant.
And yeah, I love the centipede most of all.
But here's something that blew me away--this is the year of the myliobatid from Safari. There is an Incredible Creatures Cownose Ray (it's pretty big). There's a WS Sealife Cownose Ray (looks almost the same, but smaller). But in the VC toob? It's a bat ray! And for anyone doing dioramas of Cretaceous seas, it would be such an appropriate background animal (myliobatid teeth are ridiculously common).

Nice..the scorpion and toad and a few others would be great for some diorama scenes.

That Miragaia turned out way better than I thought it would. Pics i'd seen before made the paint job look very cartoonish. Thinking I might have to order this guy. ;D

Well, that is actually a picture of the original prototype sculpture that Forest did. But having seen it in person, I can honestly say that it's a beauty, with great use of color and texture.
