Two questions: 2) why the Kaiyodo Coelophysis has what appears to be... Ehm, fuzz? Because it's more elegant than scales ;D I don't think so... ;D Scales are MUCH more elegant than fuzz... Look at at a chick (a chicken chick, i mean); he's cute and all, but i would not use the term "elegant" to describe him... A crocodile IS elegant

Heck, i'm the only one who find good ol' crocs truly BEAUTIFUL? ;D X Cordy: you have absolutely no aesthetic taste... ;D ;D

I've always found reptiles more beautiful than anything else Agreed. I find Crocodiles beautiful, elegant, and even cute (Watch a Crocodile infant chirping in it's mom's pouch pool and tell me otherwise) . I'm not saying this on simply bias terms, but I really find reptiles much easier to look at than Dinosaur descendants, mammals, and especially insects. However, I find fish nearly as amazing. Not quite, but they are in the ball field. I think Tom may agree. ;D

In the T.rex Centre, we have wind scorpions running around, and while not a look I myself would want, I think they have a charm that can't be beat.

I agree with you Sbell, Scales, feathers, furs, chitine.... I love diversity. And about this fuzzy coelophysis, I also agree for a scaly one, the problem is that I only know this kaiyodo who, even fuzzy, is nearly 1/40 and very fine.

Hi Boki; As far as I know Rhamp was a late Jurassic Pterosaur & Dimorphodon was early Jurassic. I too would love some Triassic Pterosaurs (Preondactylus & Peteinosaurus in particular). Still an amazing collection of photos!!! I have been enjoying the geologic series!!! Keep going Boki!!!!

Who made (dare I hope still makes?) that terrific 'Dawn of the Dinosaurs' set? Not sure who makes it--they were special figures for a Dino Expo in Japan. Which is over. And they are likely not being made again. But...Clawmark Toys probable still has some. Not the Promastodonsaurus amphibian though. They ran out of that a while ago. Check that--they have some complete sets--that's the only way to get those. www.clawmarktoys.com/product_info.php?cPath=96&products_id=4567

Who made (dare I hope still makes?) that terrific 'Dawn of the Dinosaurs' set? Do a search for Frenguellisaurus in the past 2-3 months and you'll see lots of pictures of all the DoD's. ;D
