Who made (dare I hope still makes?) that terrific 'Dawn of the Dinosaurs' set? Not sure who makes it--they were special figures for a Dino Expo in Japan. Which is over. And they are likely not being made again. But...Clawmark Toys probable still has some. Not the Promastodonsaurus amphibian though. They ran out of that a while ago. Check that--they have some complete sets--that's the only way to get those. www.clawmarktoys.com/product_info.php?cPath=96&products_id=4567I actually got the Promastodonsaurus, I had to get him separately since it was out when I ordered the others. Darn thing! I had to order the Kinto Spino so that the shipping would be worth it ;D I will add him soon... and yes, it is nice to finally have the complete set of PV amphibians

Agreed. I find Crocodiles beautiful, elegant, and even cute (Watch a Crocodile infant chirping in it's mom's pouch pool and tell me otherwise) . I'm not saying this on simply bias terms, but I really find reptiles much easier to look at than Dinosaur descendants, mammals, and especially insects. However, I find fish nearly as amazing. Not quite, but they are in the ball field. I think Tom may agree. ;D Personally, I find almost all living things beautiful (sometimes in their own, freakish ways). In the T.rex Centre, we have wind scorpions running around, and while not a look I myself would want, I think they have a charm that can't be beat. KILL IT WITH FIRE

And they are FAST. Somewhere, we have grainy video of one killing a field cricket. It is not pleasant.

Even fire doesn't work. And they are FAST. Somewhere, we have grainy video of one killing a field cricket. It is not pleasant. But they are able to kill themselves with fire. In 1996 I was on a field trip in the Kaokoveld, Namibia. When the windscorpions started running around after sundown they were so fast that some of them ran into our campfire. Before they realized that it was too hot they were already sizzling. They were also too fast for me to prevent them from running into the fire. Their speed is their fate sometimes and they may also run into puddles and garden ponds where they drown.

@ brontodocus & sbell
Odd looking creature that is, looks more like a spider than any type of scorpion, odd, I expect they are dangerous to people?
How does their venom workcan it be compared to Australia's White Tailed Spider or Sydney Funnel Web?
Me wonders it's secrets ;D

Me wonders it's secrets ;D Hi Tylosaurus, windscorpion is just a trivial name for Solifugae, it doesn't mean that they were especially closely related to scorpions. They have their own group within Arachnida and their closest elatives are most likely the (very small and harmless) Pseudoscorpiones. They are non-venomous and therefore not dangerous at all but have a very strong and painful bite. This and their agility makes handling quite uncomfortable. In nature they sometimes feed on venomous animals, especially scorpions, which they quickly dismember.

Ah okay, well still I'd feel like Pauper! by having to handle these oddballs, what a painful, but chanceless situation, just to try and realise this idea lol ;D It looks big too, unless it's zoomed into, reminds me of that african Cammel Spider, hmm, but crikey! ;D They do give me goose rectums atm

And I wouldn't want too get bit by one--they only get a couple inches long here, but those chelicerae would hurt; I've seen what they can do to other bugs.

Over 1000 species in mostly arid areas.

Maybe it's been shown somewhere else, but could anybody please show me a photo of the "Dawn of the Dino" HERRERASAURUS?
Is that -and the collectA- the only 2 Herrerasaurus figures on existance?

does anyone make a therocephalian? there cool The closest things you will find are the Bullyland Procynosuchus, The Dawn of the Dinosaurs Exaeretodon, and the Dinotales 3 Trochosaurus. None of them are especially common. The Trochosaurus is probably the closest to what you are looking for
