Wow! Amazing work on this figure You must have LOTS of patience and a steady hand to be able to paint such nicely detailed and complicated color scheme i wish I had that talent

Paleoffrequine: About customizing the jaw; are you going to slice down the middle of the upper jaw and remove a 'slice', then reattach and putty the pieces? That has worked for me in the past with a couple of customizations. As a side bonus, that method can be extended to make the entire head narrower (make sure you remove and then reattach the nice crest you made first, though. Naturally the head would have to be removed from the body first and then reattached, but again, that is the easy part ... I guess it's not as apparent but I had already sectioned the head just the way you said. But, maybe not enough? Well, I don't think I'm going to do more now. The changes I made now are posted below the original photos on the first page. Modified lower jaw and new teeth. Hope this is better now.

Actually, now that I look at the first photos again its obvious that the head is narrower - I first thought that you had made the jaws longer (optical illusion).
The corrected jaw makes it look rather awesome. Your best 'kitbashing' work to date!
Bravo!

Darn Paleoferruiquine -
Now I look at my customized "AlligatorSpinoSaurus" and it just doesn't look right. If I only had the time - but I'll keep it in mind as a project for the future.
I'm gonna have to make me one of those!! Heck I've done it so many times before, but I've got work on other models backed up.
After seeing yours, its "gonna have to happen".

Wow looking at the new pics I am even more impressed. Really great job. Agreed, you've nailed the look of the real Spinosaurus with the latest improvements, which is really impressive given how far removed the original was.

<-- I think that suffices. ;D Absolutely stunning. Does the jaw still open, just out of curiosity?

<-- I think that suffices. ;D Absolutely stunning. Does the jaw still open, just out of curiosity? No, after the head was split down the middle to narrow it, and the neck altered to fit it, there was no hinge left

Aha, I see. Although I probably should have asked 'does it still articulate', as it's actually already open in your pictures... ;D

Could you post another pic with the mouth closed? I just wanted to see if the jaws and teeth "meshed" together well (if you know what I mean).
