All i could manage to do this semester, this was scanned in 4 pieces and stitched together with a photo stiching program, some areas that are brighter than others are because of the scanner

Wow, these last two are exceptional! I do agree with someone else who said some of the eyes could be brightened up. Adding some whiter highlights should do it. Highlighted areas could also bring out some of the more rounded/pronounced areas on your ultra-scaly Rex above. Like on the jaw bone and stomach area and muscles in the legs... you get the idea. ;D But all-in-all, some awesome work here!

These are awesome, especially the JP raptor. Are you planning any non-JP stuff? (Yeah, there's always one...)

I also like the raptor - especially it's skin texture, it looks like you can almost touch or feel it. Nice work!

I am actually, i just wanted to finish all of the species of dino from jp,im thinking about doing a massive framed collection. The Rex body and head study at the top of this page was a test of what i can do with only skeletal referencing.

May I humbly suggest that the eye should be further up in the orbit, and the jaw muscles be made a bit more obvious (see Scott Hartman's muscular reconstruction www.skeletaldrawing.com/psgallery/images/tyrannosaurusmuscle.jpg or indeed Greg Paul's).

I can't remember whether I'd commented before or not, but excellent work! And I too would love to see a non-JP Velociraptor.

Thank you very much for your incite and the link to the musculature, its very helpful because I was taking guesses. i will work on that for the next one. I used the skeletal of the Tyrannosaurus in AMNH Osborn 1906 on skeletaldrawing.com
