WOW!!!!!! That's the first thing that popped up in my head! I'm just jealous of this amazing display and kaiyodo figures! Congrats for such collection man! Maybe one day I'll be able to do something similar.

Thanks, postsaurischian and ikessauro! Although these are very cheap cabinets (€18.99 each in a home improvement store, not the best quality). And I wouldn't say I'd never buy from toyofspark. Too bad he doesn't have the UHA Collect Club Tarbosaurus anymore... I hope I'll find another source for it.

My first Yujin Dinosaurs (before them I only had several non-dinosaur figures by Yujin)... Yujin Dino Museum Part II Therizinosaurus: Yujin Dino Museum Part II Carnotaurus: Yujin Dino Museum Part II Spinosaurus: These figures are similar in size to Kaiyodo Dinotales but made of a softer vinyl. The Therizinosaurus is my favourite of the three. The Carnotaurus' pose and paintjob are strange - just like the forked acrylic peg that is supposed to hold the figure by its tail.

That Therizinosaurus rocks! But doesn´t it have a base?

Oh yes, it has ;D: Like always it was just one of many photos I took. Somehow I like it better without the base (and I thought it would look better next to F.J. Strauß that way ;D).

Strauß is currently my only 1:87 scale figure that's in use for photos since Konrad Adenauer lost an arm during a photo session with the tyrannosaurs... ;D No, seriously, the figure really lost an arm, I need to glue it back on...

What figures does that guy come with? It's just he looks a bit like one of my teachers! ;D Nice collection! That's the 1/87th scale Franz Josef Strauss by Preiser. Strauss was perhaps the most famous Bavarian politician ever. He died in 1988. Brontodocus: You tease! You know they haven't made it to the USA shores yet! ;D Ha! You're right, simon, I do. And I don't feel bad about it. ;D

Thanks, himmapaan. I thought all the skin detail deserved some enhancement. I might eventually paint the other Krentz shapeways models, too. Although those would probably be more difficult.

I especially like the second pic - the Alamo's face looks like he's enjoying to rub himself against the tree . ...... and that landscape you're using, did you make it by yourself?

Yes, all the finer skin details stand out at once with the darker mid tone. Little wonder David himself suggests the need for a 'grey, strong and flexible' material. Did you use many layers on this one? Like Boki, I'm curious about how easily some of the details might be obscured.

Excellent job on that Alamo,Andre!!! You could trade it with me. I can give you a Schleich Mammoth!! ;D Hehe, as you mention the Schleich Mammoth, I may have mentioned it before but I got my Bullyland Deinotherium for a Schleich Mammoth. From my older son's kindergarten. They already wanted to throw it away because of all the paint rub and did not quite understand that I offered a mint Schleich figure in return. ;D I especially like the second pic - the Alamo's face looks like he's enjoying to rub himself against the tree . ...... and that landscape you're using, did you make it by yourself? The landscape is the diorama base of the Tamiya kits, normally they are smaller but this is the base of Chasmosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus glued together to one larger base, approx. 25*50 cm. Yes, all the finer skin details stand out at once with the darker mid tone. Little wonder David himself suggests the need for a 'grey, strong and flexible' material. Did you use many layers on this one? Like Boki, I'm curious about how easily some of the details might be obscured. Initially I painted only two layers but then I repainted it again because I was not happy with the result. I see more problems in the porous material causing the paint to smear if it's not viscous enough. By the way, I see no need to order the strong & flexible in any other colour than white anymore. If you want to have it in any other uniform colour that can be achieved within minutes and is very easy because the capillary force would rather be helpful here. I prepainted the fishes by razh00 in black and it turned out quite nice in a single layer.
