Firstly, new Amargasaurus. Secondly, a slice of the Leaning Tower of Dinosaurs, just because.

Indeed it is....it surprised me with how small it was. As you can see in the pics the Giganotosaurus towers over it.

Back at university, and I'm busy spending my student loan on dinosaur tat. I'm the reason the country's going down the tubes, you know. Here are all the new arrivals, plus a couple of fossils I bought last semester. And some human skulls. Triceratops skull by Favorite - I plan on pairing this with my 10th scale Tyrannosaurus skull when I get home, to recreate an exhibit at the Natural History Museum...don't worry, I do go outside now and then. Dinotales Series 1 Tyrannosaurus and skeleton. TINY. I love the colour scheme on the fleshy one.

Some new stuff and comparative shots of old and new Ankylosaurus. Things are getting a bit crowded here... A comparison of the Inpro & Carnegie Ankylosaurus "But....you don't even exist yet!"

Really? It doesn't get much love because it depicts an absurd situation (a multi-tonne dinosaur sitting on top of a load of eggs) and the animal itself is rather inaccurate. I think it's a figure with a certain quirky charm though. Besides, I mainly bought the lot for the 'Brachiosaurus' and the blockhead Tyrannosaurus (the one I had as a kid!). The difference between the old and new Carnegie figures is really marked - the old ones look so chunky and plasticky in comparison! We've come a long way it seems.

I suppose I was biased enough this time by its being a favourite dinosaur (which doesn't always happen, mind). And its overall silhouette is very pleasing. Of course, I do want all the others in the lot too, so perhaps I should simply have stuck with my customary 'want!' and hope that if I say it often enough, I shall come by them easily somehow. ;D

Some pictures of how my university room normally looks - am hoping to inspire other people to post some similar shots! ;D My normal dinosaur display area - now horribly overcrowded Some of my books, and surrounding figures... Sauropods Thought I'd be suitably Norman Bates-esque and display my skulls alongside The Magpie.
