Why be Bates-esque when you can be Poe-esque? So much more distinguished. Those books illustrate so precisely how I could never be a journalist. (Said in defeated manner, not contempt or anything else)

My new shelves then. I've managed to fit everything on here with the following exceptions - 1) JP2K9 T. rex - just too massive 2) Favorite skulls 3) JP Estemmenosuchus & Scutosaurus - as I plan on selling them. Apologies for the over-sharpness of the pics, messed up in IrfanView a bit.

The new shelves are better than the old ones. And cool to see Schleich white swan besides Carnegie Microraptor - both with unfolded wings!

Very stylish indeed. It must be such a pleasant feeling seeing most of one's collection on display. I have to store most of mine away.
I've made a rhyme...

Wow, your collection has really grown up since the last photos of the tower!
Btw, what happened with the old tower?

The old tower's in my room and will be used for overspill. (This one's in the spare room.) I will probably move my non-dinosaurs onto it as I get more dinosaur figures.

Very nice collection It looks as though the sauropods are up to something though! Especially as the Safari Diplo appears to be acting as anchor man ..................... perhaps they miss the leaning of the old tower!

I wish my collection had that level of organization! I especially like that big gray T-rex at the left.

I recommend you stop there, marc; You have many of the best models already, they look nice and neat, and pretty soon they will be taking over all of your living space

I don't think Cordy is saying something that crazy, with all that "when to stop" rant he is coming with lately. It sounds pretty lucid to me, indeed. Of course that is a matter of personal choice, as the main reason for collect was. Yet is true the space one has to live on forces collections to be stopped at some point. Imo, that point reaches when it looks like there's already too many figures to really enjoy the watch of them. If we had the great luck of having a huge room or a whole house to display our stuff, then we could allow a bigger number of figs to enter in our lives, but in small places the chaos of too many figures accumulated in a tiny place is not really that good for peace of mind and stuff. Now that is my opinion on Cordy's subject, I am a huge defender of collecting and accumulating treasures on the other hand. ^^ Oh, and not that I consider you already have too many figures, Marc. One can always accumulate them in the space avaiable in the present, in order to display them in a bigger and better place in the future. (I do that, indeed ^^)

Nicely arranged collection! It's like meeting a person you saw the last time when he or she was a kid and you go: Oh, how tall you have grown ! I must admit I'm not sure about that brown & striped Spinosaur right in front of the Invicta Baryonyx. What is it? P.S.: ..... too many Dinosaur figures What the ..... !!! What kind of an idiotic discussion is this anyway? One of the reasons I entered this forum was not to hear this question ;D!!!!

Nice collection Horridus! the swan in the 2nd floor, next to the microraptor, has its days counted. I will not last that long amongst many hungry predators

;D Your tower looks lonely. You should have a city of towers.

A photo of the new tower with Christmas additions that I stuck on Facebook just before I came back to university. (I just have no shame any more, what can I say.) Non-dinosaurs have been moved. They're not worthy. ;D
