Over the past few months, I've mainly gotten some Safaris, along with the 2010 Papos, Procon Olorotitan, and Bullyland Wooly Rhino. I've also put a few real fossils in my fossil toys display.

Wonderful collection! I thought I was going to be quite fastidious about mine too -- getting very few, very aesthetically pleasing figures (to include accuracy in the criteria, of course), but temptation has been too great. I've been charmed all over again by figures with historical/collectible value too, such as Invictas, for example.

A little less than a year ago, I started serious dinosaur collecting. Looking back, I realize how much my collection has grown. Here are some new pictures, and comparing them to the old ones is pretty amazing. The two shelves above my desk: Theropods: Ornithischians and Kinto Desktop Spinosaurus: Sauropods: The other shelf of dinosaur/prehistoric animal toys: Non-dinosaurs: Jurassic Park Shelf 1: Jurassic Park Shelf 2: Fossils:

That it is. It is hard to resist impulse buys at times.

Very enviable collection, DinoLord; and well-displayed.

Love the organization and that colorful JP Rex. Who made that Camarasaurus & Maisaurus; and what's in the box, a Pachy?

The box is a MIB Battat Pachy. The Maia is a resin master of the Battat model. As for the Camarasaurus, it's actually my own sculpture that I haven't gotten around to finishing.

Thanks. It's far from done, I still have to fix up the head and limbs and everything.

Sauropods: Invicta Mamenchisaurus: "Ouch!" Great collection! Look at all that JP stuff. LOOK AT IT. At least I can stand to look at your collection though (Roselaar's makes me pass out).

The Mamenchisaurus is just the right size to fit in the shelf. Unfortunately the Brachio is way too big.
Around half of the JP stuff was acquired in a lot of around 60 or so dinosaurs, which I got for $50 shipped. All it takes is some time and a bit of luck.

Did you find a four-leaf clover next to an untapped oil field on the same day? That's remarkable. I keep seeing semi-rare JP dinosaurs (eg. original Bull rex) going for silly money on eBay.

The Bull Rex was a Christmas present. And no, the only four leafed clover I ever found was red, and that was three years ago. The rexes pop up quite often, all you have to do is contact the sellers who have no idea what they are.

Thanks for the advice. I wouldn't mind an original Bull myself (I have the JP2K9 retool).

Haha no problem. Also helps to search 'dinosaur lot'. That's how I got the JP lot, along with some Battats and old Carnegies.

Is that orange safari t-rex old, because I thought it was brown or green.
