Yeah, those two are great skeletons. I got them when I was in China a few years back.
As for the Great Dinos Rex, that is the older color version, the new one is brown & tan.

My lord? Now that's something I haven't heard before.
I'm afraid that my collection has grown a bit disorganized. Still have to find a place to put some big figures that won't fit on the main shelf. But you can expect some pictures next month.

I remember the day quite clearly. It was one year ago to this day. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I arrived at home a bit late that day. As a I walked out of the car, I could feel a gentle breeze. It was a beautiful spring day. The perennial pink flowers in my driveway were blooming profusely, and the sky was sunny. I remember walking into the kitchen, and seeing two packages. One was a small packet. Another was a small priority mail box. In the small packet was a Dinotales Tapejara. I was pretty sure of the contents of the priority mail box. I hurriedly opened it. Just as I expected, the content of the package was wonderful. I quickly took both figures up to my room, where my collection is. I made way in my ornithischian section of my main dinosaur shelf for my newest addition, the Battat Ouranosaurus! The Ouranosaurus was my first Battat. Over the course of the year, I gradually acquired various other figures from the collection. Today, to mark the one year anniversary of acquiring my first Battat, I shall post pictures of all of my Battat figures. Here is the Ouranosaurus. I was perusing eBay out of both curiosity and boredom one day in mid-May last year. I randomly decided to search 'battat dinosaur' on eBay. To my luck, I found many listings. At the time, the Ouranosaurus was one of the only Battats I was looking for, and it was one of the more affordable listings too. After convincing the parental units to allow me to buy it (a late birthday present I called it), I bid $17 for it. With one second remaining, I was outbid by 50 cents. At this point, my heart was racing, but I increased my bid by five cents in the nick of time, making it $17.55. Unfortunately, the other Battat listings that day were not quite as affordable, with a Triceratops ending at $80 and a Parasaurolophus going for around $70.

Here are the Stegosaurus and Triceratops. I got these two in a lot on eBay with three old Carnegies and various chinasaurs. I found them by myself while searching 'dinosaur lot' on eBay one evening in late May. The starting price was around $7, but I was expecting some bloody bidding. I put the auction in my watch list, not thinking much of it. Later that night, I had a bout of insomnia, so I checked my laptop. Naturally, I checked up on the auction. I found that it now had a BIN of $40. Since I knew that the Triceratops alone could go for that much, I got my parental units to approve the purchase (paid for with my own money of course). When they arrived, the condition was less than stellar, but some cleaning efforts improved the overall look of the figures.

I actually got the Kinto Spinosaurus from a British website called dinosaurtime.co.uk. It was 42 pounds when I bought it ($65 USD at the time). I ordered some Kinto Favorites from the site as well, so the shipping costs were somewhat justified. But with exchange rates these days, I'm sure that it's somewhere around $70 now. Still worth it in my opinion. It really is a beautiful model.

On to the Battats. Here is the Styracosaurus. There's no particularly interesting story behind how I got this one. It was sometime in early or mid-June. The auction ended late at night, and there weren't any other bidders active at the time.

Here is the Pachycephalosaurus. After June, my dinosaur collecting took a hiatus of sorts, and I didn't get many new figures. I had a chance at the whole Battat collection for $500 in July, but naturally my parental units would not approve it. As Battat prices increased on eBay, I thought my Battat collecting days were over. In late August, a member here posted a sales thread listing many Battat figures for sale. I wanted several, but had no purchasing power at the time, seeing that I had just acquired a large number of Safari LTD figures at a museum shop recently. To my luck, the seller was looking for old Carnegies, so I traded him the three Carnegie figures that I had received in the lot with the Battat Triceratops and Stegosaurus for this Pachycephalosaurus. As my first MIB Battat, it was placed in the center of my main dinosaur shelf.

Here is the Maiasaura resin master. I got this one from Link and Pin Hobbies as a Christmas gift of sorts from my uncle. Since he lives in HK and was flying to the U.S. soon, he offered to buy me something from the Dino Horizons store in the airport there. But with the high amount of poor quality figures from that company, it was likely that I would get something bad that I would just end up storing. So I asked him if I could use the money to buy something that I actually wanted, and I got this resin master.

Here are the Gallimimus, Parasaurolophus, and Dilophosaurus. Back in February, I was browsing through an issue of Prehistoric Times when I found the classifieds section. I skimmed through the ads, looking for anything interesting. I found a guy selling various Battat dinosaurs. Since my birthday was coming up soon, I bought the Gallimimus, Dilophosaurus, and Parasaurolophus from him as early birthday presents.

Ahh the Battats... I wish I had more money to get them. You're lucky to get even some MIB ones. You should have an excelent memory... I never remember the exact time I got a figure. At most I know the year...

What's weird is that I know how I got every single one figure in my collection (a bit less than 300), but in other aspects my memory is usually quite poor.

Here are the Edmontonia and Utahraptor. I traded some Invictas that I got for cheap off of eBay for these with another member here in early March.
