Nah, I have not fallen off the face of the earth! Just been out of the country for a couple of weeks, then got sick but is now recovering. New additions has been slow, but not dry ;D Here are some I got the last month: A wonderful Repainted Camara from Cooper! So awesome, and glad to have one of his work finally Kaiyodo Bottle Cap deep sea fishes Anyone know who made this metal pterosaur? It's cool looking Safari 2012 Dracorex ;D And this LOVELY 1:22 Oryx from Harriet! Wow, such awesome piece of art this antelope! Thanks again, Harriet! That's it for now What website did you get that camara from? I thought about getting into the kaiyodo dinos, are they of excellent realistic detail as they seem? I found some minis on ebay that were from a similar company but the pics were blurry and unfocused so i didnt take the chance.

That's the Carnegie Camarasaurus which has been repainted by our forum member, Copper. I personally can't fault the Kaiyodo Dinotales at all. Most of us here have willingly succumbed to them! You might be interested in browsing through the forum and the blog. I'm sure you'll find many answers as well as unexpected eye-openers; the latter may also take the form of irresistible temptations. ;D Congratulations on your David Silva Dilophosaurus too. I'd been eyeing that one myself for the longest time but still don't have it!

My opinion of kaiyodos, is that even if they were blown up to full 1:40 scale, the majority would still easily beat out most dino figs from carnegie, safari, collecta, etc.

I'm so loving that dead Trike. Really original idea, and a bit gory too.

Yeah, I'm also liking the dead Trike. He'll be very useful in dioramas! And I must also agree about the Camarasaurus. Another beauty by Copper!

After seeing how accurate they've been for years it makes one wonder why the other companies lag behind in accuracy so much.

Finally got me some Antediluvians (Rex, Triceratops, Apatosaurus, Achelousaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Styracosaurus and Stegosaurus). I also have the Allosaurus, but that one I picked up from Radman about a week ago. I just have to say...maaan, these are mind blowing. I usually work with 1/30 scale, but there's something about these little guys that's just so charming. And I have to say I like this material better than the Shapeways medium. I don't like the porousity of the latter.

Haha, thanks! I think that colour pattern was subconsciously inspired by Peter Zallinger's colour choices in his 1977 Dinosaur book, which I loved as a kid and still have in my possession (re-acquired through eBay of course).
