I'd say the dunkleosteus and the liopleurodon are about equal. They both aren't very good at all

I'd say the dunkleosteus and the liopleurodon are about equal. They both aren't very good at all The dunkleoteus is still worse (that tail is just so wrong). But the Liopleurodon is...odd. I have mused that it looks more like a polycotylid than a pliosaur proper, but our resident plesiosaur expert had reasons to disagree with that (although I can't even begin to remember why).

Found this weird looking, hollow, no-name Spinosaurus. Although it´s chinasaurus, it´s not that bad, is it?

Just scored all 3 Colorata Dino-sets (never to be broken up again or boxes thrown away!!!) On ebay from the same Seller for a total (including shipping) of $159 (!!!!) Gotta be close to the record (on the low side). Even beats Clawmark, which would have charged me $200 with shipping!! Here's the Seller below; I won 2 out of 3 auctions, emailed him, and he threw in the one set I lost with no additional shipping for $39. *SWEET*!!!! shop.ebay.com/ig88droid/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686Oh and a PS: ToyofSpark, go @%@^*($#@!!! YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

And yes, he is a great guy to deal with, and I'm glad you were able to get your sets from him--he is by far the most reasonable reseller of those sets (I have already purchased several from him).

If one starts buying up ALL of the different Colorata boxed sets, one would go broke even purchasing them from Carl!!!!!!!!!!!

Coloratas seem to be a dime a dozen now. I know, they aren't really, they are much more expensive than that, but... Last year they almost seemed mythical in their rareness... Now it seems everybody's got some!

Now it seems everybody's got some! YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT? Everybody who wants them SHOULD have a chance to pick them up at less than ripoff prices, don't you think? After all, SBell and I independently of each other contacted suppliers (Carl in Japan, Clawmark Toys) who made them more available to y'all via ebay and online shops. That's the way its supposed to be - collectors helping each other, isn't it?

YOU MEAN NO MORE ADRENALIN RUSH COLLECTING THEM HERE AND THERE AND SWEATING IT OUT ON EBAY? Sorry caps lock was on there. Yeah. But your wallet will thank you. Unless you bought them when they were fetching a pretty penny. Sold individually they still will. So you might wan to buy 3 cheap sets then sell them off one by one. Probably make some $$$ to offset your initial purchase. That is, if you're insane like some of us around here tend to be.

Colorata are so unique in the small PVC dino universe (no seams, larger size, spectacular colors and a few specimens that are simply knock-you-socks-off in the accuracy department) that they will ALWAYS stand out on your shelf.
Unlike Kaiyodos, which require a large magnifying lens to view and enjoy. I intend to mount my Colorata's with their boxes, on a shelf just above my PC screen - close enough to get my daily fix whenever I look up!

No seams? I guess I'm unlucky.... Must be your old eyes! I can see kaiyodos just fine And what I see are models more detailed and accurate than the colorata!

Yeah, because there is nothing more terrible than other people being able to get after sought after figures. Or really, it's that there is nothing more terrible than spending way too much on something--and then see it become more available and drop in resale value. And for the record, I actually got my Colorata dinos from a friend in Japan; it was later dealings with Carl that made me realize that he might be able to help others out.

I never said that, I just mean that since many people have them combined with the fact that the sculpts themselves aren't great-- They aren't "fun" anymore. Good for the people who can get them for cheap now, I don't have anything against them
