Great pics, huge thanks Libra. Do you have some more? Was there a Laramie parasaurolophus too, stoneage? I would love to get some Laramie guys, I'm also a lover of the Invictas (to me the best figures ever). But these Laramies are hard to find... Are they supposed to be rare? And/or expensive?

Larami figures are not expensive, you see them often on ebay, just look closely at mixed lot, chances are you will find one or more Larami in them, mostly the Brachi, Diplo comes to mind. Not sure if there was a Para, hmmm

Yes there was a Larami Parasaurolophus. I believe these figures are somewhat rare. However in 1999's Dinosaur Collectibles they are valued at 3 to 5 Dollars. They might be worth a little more then that now. I will try to get some pictures of the Larami and Invicta figures in the next few weeks.

Colorata Dino Sets I, II & III arrived today. They're still in their little carrying boxes, which will serve as a partial display stand as soon as I get the new shelf up to accommodate the new figures....

I never saw one alive, ´though --> Don´t exactly know if they´re rare. I got mine by accident a year ago. Stumbled over the collection on ebay.

Bah. Kinto is the new Battat...mark MY words... The "Favorite" line? Ummmm....don't think so. The big Kinto models are a different category all together - but they do tend to be weak on what I would call 'lifelikeness' a little bit in some of the sculpts. The Deinonychus is very good.

The favorite line is dwindling everywhere besides japan it seems, and the dinosaurs are at a papo level of detail.

YAY! Thank you for this I am so happy you liked them! I've been out of town for awhile and just logged in to find this and was super excited ;D I'm glad SHapeways treated you well and the figures made it to your doorstep just fine. I can't wait to see you paint them!!! They are going to look AWESOME with your painting ;D I'm on my way to making more of these. I hope to have the time this weekend to finish up the Camptosaurus, I also have a Maiasaura and some others. Again, so glad you liked them and please post the painted versions Take care, Angie Wow! I just got the Shapeways Parasaurolophus and Brachylophosaurus, all the way from Holland. Created by our own Angie Rodrigues, aka 3Dcreature, these little beauties are apparently printed from a CAD program into a real 3-dimensional model. I got the 1:75 versions, which are about the size of the Kaiyodo Dinotales figures, maybe a little bigger. The material is very light plastic, with some flexibility, I didn't want to break them, but there is some give and they are not too brittle. It's not easy to tell with a snow-white figure, but it certainly looks like there is lots of detail on almost every level , skin, muscles, facial features, etc. I think when I paint it and give it a blackwash, most of these features will certainly pop out, so look for a finished version in the near future. As to the figures themselves, the brachy I don't think has ever been done in a smaller than 1:20 version; it looks quite accurate, the legs are long and thin, kind of like a horse (!). And the Para has a wonderful web extending from its crest all the way to the back of its shoulders - don't think I've seen that before. Translucent in the figure, simply stunning. A remarkable job by Angie, I encourage everyone to get these, they are quite reasonably priced, and shipping is included. You guys know I don't get too excited too often, but I really think this something great. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Again, the pix don't really do these justice, you really have to see them for yourself! I got the 1/75th scale Brachylophosaurus and Parasaurolophus models by Angie in the mail today and I second radman's comments. They are amazing. ;D

Well, if it helps any, the shoni is not pristine; all of the paint is rubbed off of the beak tip, and thee are various minor scrapes on its belly, likely from resting on it. Its ok, as I repaint everything anyway, but I am glad to have less than mint ones, it seems less traumatic somehow...
