Who makes the Triadobatrachus, Proganochelys and Meganeura in Lbra's photo(ha lol, i almost wrote pot)? Do you mean the frog, turtle and dragonfly?: These ones, the Invicta is for trade or sale when I get it, the other stuff glows - let´s see. But I mainly bought them because of the little T.rex. Does anyone have an idea about the company? Because I'm pretty sure that those are standard bin-style figures of modern animals. Except that they glow!

Not sure about being a JP figure! Could be one of the JP3 little figures but recently I found a little Rex pretty similar to that one on ebay, labelled "Jurassic Park", I asked about him to the seller and he told me it wasn't actually a JP figure but he labelled it that way for commerial purposes. It's here: cgi.ebay.com/BIG-Jurassic-Park-Dinosaur-King-Tyrannosaurus-12-T-Rex_W0QQitemZ110482713124QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item19b9486a24It's not JP. I ignore its origin... It does look pretty close to the little JP3 ones though. Besides, I dunno if your figure is that misterious one or the JP one as everybody points, Libra (probably everybody is right).

That IS a JP figure! I have THREE of them. I know what they look like. You can even see a pixelated JP/// mark on his left leg.

I went to the museum today, and on the way out I ended up getting a Procon Agustinia. I would have bought a Papo Allosaurus were it not for my love of obscure genera being represented in toy form.
(also the Allosaurus was more expensive)
It's different from the one reviewed on the blog. For one, its mouth is closed, and it is brown rather than green.
It is also notable for being the first dinosaur model I have gotten in about a year. Any other dinosaurs I have obtained recently have been Transformers.

Lucky you. I wish my museum had more dinosaur toys. *SIGH* Well congrats anyway. Yeah, the NHM in London only has Toyway monstrosities now, such as their zipper-mouthed Tyrannosaurus, bunny-handed Megalosaurus and various toothy Chinasaur things. Pretty bad.

Sounds like you got the larger deluxe one, the small one is green and with an open mouth.

Sbell: Yes I did mean those. That turtle is not an ordinary turtle though. It has spikes on it's tail which Proganochelys also has. So, who makes them? Brontozaurus: which museum?

So do many modern turtles, sort of. Alternatively--I can't even see a tail (the head is out quite a bit): If i had to guess, the makers are one of many dollar store/low end companies) or knock offs of good figures.

Turtle shells can get "spiky" like that if they get improper diets. It's called pyramiding.

The Big Agustinia is my favorite Procon figure, its just an amazing figure and species ;D Perhaps someday they would redo the head, my only complaint about the figure. I can't believe no one has produced it before ;D So, I did get one dinosaur related gift for my B-day ;D I got the new DK Prehistoric Life book! Big and beautiful book with lots of pictures Question to you all: Are the figures shown in the book computer generated or small 3D figures? It looks to me like they are models. If you have or see the book, look for the Giga, now we know where Schleich got the look for their figure ;D

Finally got the Schleich Edmontosaurus. This thing is huge! Easily the largest 1:40 hadrosaur out there. 4 Euros from Ebay Germany . About twice that to ship it to the USA, though . Still, a great addition to my duckbill collection. Finally my Papo t-rex has someone to waltz with! ;D
