Look what I came across at Kmart! They ar Discovery channel "smart animals" this are the dinosaur packs. Nothing to spectaclar at first until I noticed that the brachiosaurus is indeed a Brachiosaurus altithorax as aposed to the Brachiosaurus brancai (Giraffatitan) dominated figures. Caracterised by the shorter neck , the lack of the arch in its back and the lack of the higher domed skull of Giraffatitan. But the real jewel of the set is an Othnielia! and its based of the walking with dinosaurs design. One set is a Jurassic set featuring Brachiosaurus ,stegosaurus Othnielia and Rhamphorhynchus the Cretaceous set Includes Trex ,torrosaurus, ankylosarus and Protoceratops.

The only shame for me is they had to put the logo right dab smack in the middle of the figure.

Your best bet for that Compsognathus would be eBay. I got the entire collection except for the T. rex (seller is sending it though) today. They are pretty nice figures.

I can't pick which of the 3 is sadder: The fact that you own the 1960 The Lost World, the fact that I watched it, or the fact that I noticed you had it.

I have these but my T.Rex has a straight tail and its arms are just flat against the body. They must have made 2 different styles. They also have large Delux model dinosaurs too.

7 Movies, 2 TV Shows, some Japanese Crap... no ones come close to respecting the book. The TV shows were 1990s, so don't worry. What I mean to say was "...or that's the thing I notice of the photos you took."

I'm crying cause I'm thinking back to when I was a kid my uncles were alive, and my grandmother was well and not sick.

Well no I figured the 90's. I'm crying cause I'm thinking back to when I was a kid my uncles were alive, and my grandmother was well and not sick. You have been lucky for having lovely grandfathers and uncles (mine were a lot of things, but I don't have any memories of being lovely with me). Maybe they were gone but they left you the memories. Other persons like me don't have that luck. I hope your sadness doesn't last.

1988 Tyrannosaurus figurine made by Castagna of Italy. Not sure how rare it is but it seems quite unusual. I'll post a couple of pics in my collection thread.
