In fact, I really need to get Photbucket going so I can post pics of my larger Jasman figures (the ones I've found, at least). I still don't know how many or which ones were made, but I can confirm (all large) - T Rex, Gallimimus, Dilophosaurus, Stegosaurus, Carnotaurus, Spinosaurus, & Apatosaurus. None of them are in scale with the others, of course, but they are great figures (and not smiling like the smaller ones, at least!)

Carnegie Protoceratops + nest and UKRD Edmontosaurus! Ah, the sweet smell of nostalgia...and cheap rubbery plastic.

UKRD had an edmontosaurus?

UKRD had an edmontosaurus? They did, quite a big beastie it is too. About 1:40 scale I'd say, based on the largest Edmontosaurus specimens. Check out the second pic down here www.dinosaurcollector.150m.com/UKRD.htmLike a lot of the UKRD dinos it appears to be based on an old Sibbick illustration. I know it's outdated now but it was one of my favourites as a kid (for some reason). Mine's more brown than the 'black-backed' one shown in that photo. Could well be the one that I had as a kid has come back to me, haha.

Ah ok I see now. I have the whole set of the group in the second photo minus the raptor. So whenever i think of that company i tend to picture that grouping of dinos and nothing else. My bad lol

PROCYNOSUCHUS by BULLYLAND
I received this in the mail yesterday and for those that don't have it, it is SMALL! I was thinking it would be Andrewsarchus sized, but it's Bully Edaphosaurus sized minus the fin. It's still a cool sculpt and a pretty rare item, but I wanted to get the word out that it could easily be eaten by your other museum line dinos! Now I'm going to go get my magnifying glass and look at him some more....

Finally received the favorite desktop allosaurus and spinosaurs.
The spino is DAMAGED! So I'm FUMING. I've e-mailed them about it so we'll see what they suggest.
I do not think either models are worth the money, to be honest. Both of them came to £86 in total. the details aren't as impressive as I'd hoped. The paint job is no where near what it should be for something so expencive. The teeth are f**king awful. In fact, the allosaurus has a weird shaped jaw tip. The rest of him is nice, and the spino would be nice if it wasn't broken.
I'll post pics later.
Until I receive word back from Dinosaurtime, I don't recommend anyone order from them. But we'll see what they offer as compensation... They were more than fair to myself and Horridus previously. Hopefully it's just bad luck.

In Germany it would be, for sure and I guess in UK it would be the same). I'd be interested in the results (because I already considered ordering there) and in shots from the figures (because that was about what I was intending to buy, actually).

Recently acquired a 1960's ceramic Hall's Drug Store give-away premium ("Hall's; the Ice Water Drug Store"); a 5" green "Brontosaurus" with rhinestone eyes, for three simoleons on eBay. Coincidentally, another is going for around $100 on eBay now. These are the only two I have seen for sale in years. It's not often I find something reasonably-priced from my youth that doesn't appear in Cain and Fredericks. This one is flawless, and I have just the spot for it. Not too many spots left, as those of you who have slogged patiently through the pictures of my collection can attest).

Great find fossil. There was I thinking that a Lost World Pachycephalosaurus for 99p from my youth was a good eBay snag! Very nicely done there. Please show us some photos.

The Favorite models are actually notorious for breaking in transit. I think I mentioned this a while ago, not sure.

First of all... Dinosaur Time have consistantly been a pleasure to deal with. I think the BEST feedback anyplace can get is positve feedback wehn something goes wrong, so they are worth buying from, I've just been unlucky. They respond to e-mails within miniutes and offer refunds, even to cover postage costs, and have have left both myself and Horridus keep figures sent by mistake. So, yeah, positive reviews. As for the desktop models, I've decided not to keep them and return them both. They aren't nice enough (in my opinion) for their outragous price, but I'm pretty picky. They are no't particually detailed, they aren't very large and the paint jobs aren't particually fantastic. I can't speak for scientific accuracy, because not only do I not care, I don't have a clue. As a positive start, the boxes are really nice. LOL You can see in this pic how weird the Allosaurus' jaw tip is. He is otherwise really nice, particually his hands. But still not nice enough for over £40, and the price of him in the US ....hahaha, just no. You can see the Spinos broken arm in this pic, but also I wanted to draw attention to the blotchy ares on his belly. Here you can see the poor details on the spinos face. His nostrils are just left unpainted, which looks weird, and the teeth barely get a covering of white. Cehck out the end of the bottom jaw, too, which lacks a covering of paint on the teeth/gum. Wtf? Probably silly, but my favourite thing about this figure is it's walking stance and how the legs bow in and he leans to one side slightly. It makes him look heavier and have momentum. The appauling paint job to one of the claws on the back foot makes me angry. I couldn't tell if the tail tip was damaged, or just poorly made. It looks really awkward and like my allo chewed it off in transit. I love his colour scheme, and pose, and as long as he wasn't right in my face the details wouldn't piss me off. I'd say he's worth maybe... Just over half what I payed? £25? Yeah, I'd keep him for £25. The allo is nicer. The colour scheme fantastic and the spines on his back are really nice. But the jaw being so... squify, and problems with the teeth details piss me off. Lets draw attention to his really lovely hands, though. Just trying to show the awkward top jaw, which is particually bad on this side. I assume this is a casting error? His teeth are barely visable. Dunno about realism, but I think it looks strange, and I'd rather they petruded a little. Tiny teeth. His colour scheme does make me so so so happy though. He looks REALLY nice from above I think. One thing that is dissopointing about him, and his price, is how small he is. The stand says 1/40 (same for the spino), dunno how accurate that is, but it makes him look so, so small. I've noot even got big hands. You can also see his horrible jaw tip in this pic well. Overall, nice, but not nice enough? He's nicer than the spino though, I personally think. Hope you enjoy the pics. And I'm sure most of you think I'm just realllllly picky! Again, if you want these, or the other desktop models - I recommend Dinotime for their excellent service and how quickly they sort out problems. Postage was also super quick for me.

That sucks that the arm came broken. When I received my Allosaurus skeleton the toe's were all snapped off too. From afar they look like great models but close up they don't hold there appeal. The sculpts are great though just slacked off on the paint jobs.

Hey, the Allosaurus was made with lips covering ONLY the upper jaw theory! Interesting.
