Thanks for posting, hajime. I'm sorry for that but at least the shop does seem customer friendly.
And both models are really not okay. It seems as if Favorite sometimes has molding problems - didn't the Allosaurus' mouth on the photos from Favorite's site look much better? I recall once I bought several specimens of the Kinto Favorite Desktop Tyrannosaurus with similar problems - lousy paint job, crude detail on the teeth and the same blunt tail tips. On the other hand I have the Kinto Spinosaurus (the one in water with the gar fish in its mouth) that - inaccuracies aside - has crisp detail, an evenly tapering tail and quite a good paint job (except for the teeth which are awful). If only a finger claw was missing on the Spino that may be something where you could decide to keep a model and restore the claw with Apoxie sculpt or similar polymer clay (still it would be a defective item nobody would be forced to keep). But almost the complete lower arm missing is a no go for sure. Was the broken part even missing in the box? No, I wouldn't have kept them either.

Hm, that is quite disappointing. I think Sideshow Dinosauria has ruined me for life. LoL

The allosaurus' jaw is just odd because despite being quite a small detail... it sticks out so badly. I didn't notice anything wrong in the official photos.

Oh, oh! Sorry, all. Not a "Halls" but a Walls Drug Store Brontosaurus premium. (It's a race to the finish line between encroaching presbyopia and galloping senility in my case; my vision gets worse by the month, and my memory worse by the...oh, heck; I forgot.) Horridus, I've got my photo-friendly, if not photogenic (takes after his old dad, I'm afraid) son captive for the weekend; we'll try to borrow that camera and get a shot or two of the new acquisition for posting.

Lost World super-size Pachycephalosaurus. I've already posted a review. I work fast when the work isn't vital to my future employment prospects.

Thanks for posting, hajime. I'm sorry for that but at least the shop does seem customer friendly. Yeah, I'm going to say thanks for posting too. I thought about buying one or two of those myself, but by the looks of the ones you were sent...I think I'll pass. The paintwork was pretty sloppy on those things - and yet their soft models always have flawless (if dull) paintjobs. The mind boggles... Oh, and the snout on that Allosaurus...fugly.

I got this figure today. Does anyone know anything about it and what species it represents?

I got this figure today. Does anyone know anything about it and what species it represents? It looks like some Stegosaurus or saltasarus or something. May be wrong though. Pretty cool I know that. Is it made of glass?

Not terribly recent, but over the last month I've managed to acquire 4 of these little guys. He's from a Kinder egg, a model from the movie Ice Age 3. Haven't seen it yet, so that's all the detail I can give you - not even sure about his species (maybe a cartoony Suchomimus?).

The Ice Age 3 DVD mentions it's a Baryonyx, though it's like twice as big as a T-Rex in that movie so that seems a bit unrealistic.

There is actually a case for Suchomimus being absorbed into Baryonyx. Beyond that I don't feel qualified to comment...
