Close the entries on the diorama contest, we have a winner. I'm pretty sure its not me. I'm terrible at making stuff. Also is that the procon t rex? cause it looks smaller then they say it is.

I went to the American Museum of Natural History today and got a Wild Safari Andrewsarchus and Saber Toothed Tiger along with a Carnegie Collection Tyrannosaurus rex. Miraculously, it has perfectly normal eyes and stands on two feet without the help of the tail!

Dan was jokingly saying that because my little 'diorama' was such a masterpiece, it should clearly be the winner. The Procon Deluxe Tyrannosaurus comes in two sizes. I have the 1:40 scale version. There's also a much more expensive 1:15 scale model, which I am reliably informed is absolutely enormous.

But it is very bulky.

I went to a community yard sale yesterday.
My first find was a very nice specimen of Carnegie Microraptor. The asking price was a dime, but I gave a quarter because I was out of dimes.
Later I found a table with the Carnegie Caudipteryx, Carnegie Sinraptor, and old retired Wild Safari Brachiosaurus. I made an offer of a dollar for the trio, and the kid accepted.
I think it might be a while before I feel okay with paying full price for a dinosaur again.
