Back from my hiatus ;D What arrived within the last month: And a set of metal prehistoric mammals I will post individual pics of the mammals in my Rise of Mammals thread, so check it out if you want a better look at them. Cheers! ;D I recognize some of the metals as Ral Parthas, but not all--who makes ones like the chalicothere?

Not all of them, only the small ones in the group pics are metals. They are cool small figures. Sbell - metal mammals are from MegaMinis (ones that are not RP). You can see closer pics in my Rise of mammal thread, just posted them

Hey Boki- thanks for posting photos of the figures from me, glad you liked them, just to clarify-that is a Kronosaurus, not a Liopleurodon- they are so similar looking as most of those type marine reptiles are, more about size and other small details I guess to differentiate them to us non scientists.

Yeah that confused me. I thought where was I when he made a Liopleurodon.

Ha ha! Of course its a Krono! ;D Sorry, I was comparing it side-by-side to the Invicta Liop that it stuck to my brain that it was a liop! LOL! ;D

Hey Weaver, a more forgiving medium to paint these would be acrylic. You can get a more subtle finish that way and enamel covers up a lot of detail. Friendly tip from someone who has been painting metal miniatures for over ten years.

I have acquired.... furniture! Nice shelves, where did you get them? Also does the middle shelf have doors?

The middle one does not have doors. Eventually I hope to replace it with something that does. The set was part of an entertainment center that a neighbor was disposing of.

I have acquired.... furniture! Cool setup! ;D Do you have all the DRs, including Chasmosaurus? . I have had about a dozen dino riders at some point ( e.g Saurolophus, Monoclonius, Styracosaurus, Dimetrodon, Pteranodon, Protoceratops, Struthiomimus, Deinonchus, Quetzalcoatlus, Pterodactyl, Diplodocus and Smilodon), but it seems that my parents have misplaced them somewhere (its not the first time, lol) along with the rest of my Marx and MPCs I've started a new collection this year (Brontosaurus, and Kentrosaurus...) I have a curio in my basement, but I find that the gates keep obstructing the view

I got this amazing large Schleich Apatosaurus, but it wasn't for me. Was for a lil' cousin of mine's b-day. I bought him a heirloom toy that he can get muddeh over and over again.
I'm getting myself one once I have space to display it in. Same with the Brachiosaurus.
