Found a bunch of Dinotales in a shop. Since they were cheap, I got a couple of them, namely the Brachiosaurus, Allosaurus, Rutiodon, Megatherium, and Rayonnoceras.

DISGA Monoclonius Bullyland Mini Allosaurus Bullyland Mini Velociraptor (I like it very much!) Bullyland Mini T.rex Those little Bullylands are really cool. I like the small Raptor much more than its bigger cousin! Ohhh, those are cool ones! I did not know there was small versions off these Bully figures, this is the first time I have seen them. I love them, wish I could get a hold of some. Where did you get them?

Agreed! And I have to say, I'd also like to know where to get these mini Bullylands, I haven't seen these before, either. It's funny that I only knew the mini Tyrannosaurus in form of the kindertoyz (knock-off?) set until now.

I got this great replica Jurassic Park Compy for Christmas! That looks pretty cool! Not completely accurate to the Compies from the films, but fairly close and still cute.

I picked up my second set in the Lego Dino line today at Toys R Us; Triceratops Trapper. It is the third largest set in the collection, and the only one to come with a Triceratops! It also comes with a very large truck (to transport the Trike), two dino hunters, and two tranquilizer guns. The Triceratops is truely a spectacular figure (for Lego standards). I also placed an order online at LegoShop.com, where I ordered two more sets! They should be here by next week. When they arrive, expect pictures of my entire collection! Four sets down, three to go! ;D

I have a Christmas gift coming from my wife via Galileo, but it's still in the mail, so sharing a couple smaller acquisitions over the last few weeks. My first (and probably only) Battat - the Ceratosaurus. I had to, right? Also just got these: OK, they only cost $3, but they were kind of cool. Our family was on the Oregon coast for the week just kicking back after Xmas and we end up spending about 1/2 the time in the hot tub/pool. My son loves to dive for things, but diving for coins gets old. So, we saw these at the grocery store and bought a couple packs. Their best feature is they sink! Still, they aren't bad little figures at all, and have a nice variety. Kind of funny to see the Brachiosaurus as the smallest among them, but still a fun discovery. I toss them in the pool, my son dives for them by species after I call out his next target: And then we line them up (Generally I do this while comfortably sitting in the hot tub) and then we do it all over again (until I can't stand it anymore and say it's time to leave!):

Some of them look like JP knock-offs - the frilled Dilophosaurus being the most obvious.

They are knock offs of the mini JP3 dinos that came with small vehicles.

I have been asked several times for telling more about the Bullyland minis! Okay. It´s not unusual for Bullyland to release dinosaur toys in different scales / sizes. I think most of you read my review on the Blog of the mini Plateosaurus for example, and the small old Bullylands (Triceratops, Apatosaurus, etc.), and the ones with a base (Dimetrodon, Brachiosaurus etc.) are no strangers to you either, are they? It came as a real surprise when I saw a transparent package in a shop with new mini Bullylands in them. There was a carnivore box (you saw those above) and a herbivore box with a Triceratops, a Stegosaurus and a ?? in there. They were 9.99 Euro each. Maybe they´ll get them at urzeitshop?! I don´t think they´re something rare or special. On request I can buy some and send them worldwide to those of you who want some. Please keep in mind the horrible postage costs, On request (P.M. me, please) I´ll repeat that Procynosuchus and kindertoyz - action again, but I´d prefer you asking personally at urzeitshop, to be honest.

Picked up a Schleich Elasmosaurus for $14.99 ($20 w/shipping)!
I was wondering if that was a good deal, and what they are worth these days.....
....Also, the model is very stiff....it seems that If I were to try bending the neck, it may snap....maybe this was a trait that was specific to older Schleichs?

I'd say that was a good deal, but depends on the condition. I got mine near mint, no tags, for $36.
