Here are some images of the Kosmo 1/72 below. Here is a rundown of the materials. White Strong and Flexible- for some reason this was not sent to me even though I ordered it. It may not have been able to print. Order at your own peril. White Detail- Turned out really nice. I exaggerated the details on the sculpt so they would be visible. There are still slight 'grow lines'. If you are painting this with a brush this is your best bet for the price. Frosted Ultra Fine Detail- As expected the details are really sharp, and you can see almost every scale- HOWEVER- if you are going to paint this without an airbrush or fine washes of paint any other kind of application will hide all that detail. I'll make this available on SW by the end of the day. DK Attachments:

This one is a little misleading, The focus on the Detail version makes it look more crisp of a print than the Ultra. Attachments:

This one is a good example of 'grow lines' on the Detail Version. You can see it on the back. Attachments:

A real beauty. What's meant by "grow lines", though?

I would buy it but it costs only around 14$ and you have to buy for at least 25$ and at the moment I also don't need anything else to fill the gap. Is it possible to make a larger version that costs a little bit more?

Oh, I forgot about that minimum! I'll be getting the Bistihieversor on SW early this week. Maybe wait for that.

Very beautiful! Great to see the 1:72 line expanding. A real beauty. What's meant by "grow lines", though? Like in a magnetic resonance imaging the Shapeways models are printed in many different steps, which means many different layers. On the comparison pic above you can see these diagonal lines on the detail version (on the right). That's it.

Update. Just finished a more detailed T.rex for 1/72 last night. I wanted to look at it with with fresh eyes today before I send it off to Shapeways and post pics. I tried to get this out for Christmas. My three year old saw it and said "I LIKE that!", so I hope it's OK for all of you too. D

What's happening with the Bista? I had told myself "No more tyrannosaurs for a while", until I saw that one in the webinar; it was awesome, IMHO.
