About 2' 5" shorter length wise...not sure about height. I wonder if the length of Shane's counts the curled tail as straight or not..? I did notice it looks like he tried fixing the tail a bit for you. I'm thinking she's not quite as large as I had originally thought ( still HUGE though ) due to those Dinostoreus skulls in the back..I have the Allo one so I can make better estimate now than in the past.

Shane said that the tail can be positioned in different poses, as it is detachable. I'll most likely leave it the way he has it, as it looks very pleasing to me.

Huh..that's cool. ;D
I also prefer the current position to the one on his site..just looks better. How did it make it so it can be positioned anyway..I mean sculpt-wise and paint-wise..is it the same 360 degrees around ?
I just noticed the scratches on the side..heh heh love the small details ! They look fresh too..wonder if his new Allosaurus would go with it ? ;D

Its indeed a fantastic model. I would have add spikes in the back or small scutes in the flanks, but well.. .

Holy cow, they look fantastic. Love the name plates there, too. Were these finished by you or Steve?

If Sideshow's Dinosauria line doesn't have enough ceratopsians..that Torosaurus and infant will certainly fill the bill ! I love it ! ;D
You know it !!! I've already ordered mine..jump on the Allo wagon ! ;D

Absolutely great! That must be easily the best Giganoto model I´ve ever seen. I might be biased because I love spiky carnosaurs (the smooth skinned ones look "naked" to me), but still is undoubtely a great job: well proportioned, menacing and natural looking. Good paintjob too.

Those look great Shane. I'll definitely be picking up that Torosaurus pair in the future.

Good paintjob too. I agree i too like my theropods knarly but even though i as an artist flesh the models out in the way i think they may have looked , i must be careful not to just create them the way i want them to look but to follow the Fossil evidence at close as possible and sometimes they turn out a little different then i thought in my mind, its more of a forensic reconstruction for me instead of a artist impression. i think nature can produce a much more interesting animal than our own minds could ever create. It always makes me wonder why movies change science around to make the creature more "appealing" , im sure hollywood could never make anything as cool as they were in real life! If you look close at the Allosaur sculpt he has alot of scutes all over his upper body, the photo i took was kinda washed out in regards to detail . enjoy anyway. thanks. Attachments:
