My 8 cm version of the Doryaspis (in fact it's 9.5 cm with the saw) arrived today ... and it's perfect ;D! No thickness issues, no cancellation. Thanks razh00, it's really beautiful (also the Bothriolepis that came with this order) . Congratulations! Now I'm looking forward to the amphibians .......

Love that Pantylus! Here is a link to the drawing of a skeleton for Varanops: reptileevolution.com/varanops.htmNew models invigorate our hobby. A collection that is growing is way more fun than a static one. Thank you for making your art available to us.

Even though they haven't been tested yet - I had to order some of your new additions at once. After all I needed some more models to add to my renewed order of the Doryaspis to reach the minimum of $25. Keep on making nice models like these!

Oh... But so far I don't have a notification that my order has been cancelled, so we'll see - maybe they still can print it. It seems that recently some orders of the same model have been cancelled and some have not. Well, no problem anyway, when these things happen I'll get a coupon and renew my order later .

Mine arrived today... however, yours looks more detailed than mine! You can see good details on your figure, on mine, its very hard to see Still a nice figure.

Maybe it's a question of lighting. I guess postsaurischian didn't use flash light but sided light (maybe even natural light from a window) which would pronounce all grooves and other depressions.

;D True scientist Dr. Andre is right again. No flashlight was used, natural light was sided from a window and I darkened the pic a bit afterwards. Boki, I think yours would look absolutely the same. I bought some Shapeways figures twice and there haven't been any differences in their looks. I'm sure you will see all the details after you've painted the model .

Thanks, postsaurischian! By the way, I've already prepainted my fish (Gemuendina, Anglaspis and Pteraspis, all in White, Strong & Flexible) black with thinned acrylics. Now all these grooves turned out a little lighter than the rest and the scales of the Anglaspis are much better visible. But I also received some bad news: Unfortunately this time not the Doryaspis was cancelled but all others were (which will result in a cancellation of the whole order in this case), Pantylus, Crassigyrinus, and Limnoscelis. The thickness problems seem to be mostly restricted to the fingers, though (only in the Crassigyrinus there seems to be a thickness problem on a whole limb). I hope it's not too difficult to fix.

Oh no!!! I just ordered the amphibians . I ordered them in different sizes though, which gives me hope (No, Im not having too much money - it's just my firm belief that I have it to spend it on music, Dinosaurs and other art). to razh00: I like the way you're making your models available in chronological order. Can we expect early reptiles next after the amphibians ?

Got an email from Shapeways this morning and out of the five I ordered: LIMNOSCELIS, HEMICYCLASPIS, HOELASPIS, TAURASPIS,and DORYASPIS REVISED, they cancelled TAURASPIS and LIMNOSCELIS, but at least the others will arrive. That's OK it's a work in progress.
