Oh no!!! I just ordered the amphibians . I ordered them in different sizes though, which gives me hope (No, Im not having too much money - it's just my firm belief that I have it to spend it on music, Dinosaurs and other art). to razh00: I like the way you're making your models available in chronological order. Can we expect early reptiles next after the amphibians ? i accept suggestions ;D

I think most folks here (including myself) would be happy to see a Mastodonsaurus and/or a Koolasuchus. As for early reptiles, well, Moschops, Mesosaurus, Scaphonyx or a bipedal Onithosuchus would all be a good start. Keep up the good work, I hope to get some of your models soon. ;D

Razh00, your painting looks fine to me. Please tell us how you primed the models.
Speaking of suggestions, I would like to hear if any other members would want you to put a Trilophosaurus in your queue of future models. This is an early archosauromorph, possibly related to rhynchosaurs, that lost the lower temporal openening.

Rather than new ones, when will all of the ones that used to be up on Shapeways be made available again? I was hoping to get the Crassi and Dory, for example, but I haven't seen them there for weeks.

The three models look great. Amphibian enthusiasts everywhere will rejoice over these. I can't wait to place an order with Shapeways.

Phantastic! Did you airbrush them? The only thing that bothers me now is that I doubt I can do something remotely similar with mine... But I'll try my best... eventually...

Man you've done a great job. Of course you always do. Can't wait to see the others. How long does it take to paint one?

I don't use paint, I use soft pastel powder. Either pastel sticks scraped on sandpaper or already powdered such as Doc O'brien's (from Micromark). Spray clear is used to fix it in place. A short bristle brush can be used but I use mainly micro applicators about 1/16 inch(1.5mm): It takes about an hour to do one.

Congratulations to razh00 on the production of his beautiful amphibians. The two new species are shown in the photo, both as 8 cm figures. To give an idea of size, Limnoscelis paludis is next to Play Visions Eryops, and Pantylus cordatus is beside PV Platyhystrix. A dinosaur fan might want to add Limnoscelis to the collection as an example of a diadectomorph, considered sister group to the amniotes, which means some shared ancestry. Pantylus is a microsaur, whose relationship with other amphibian clades is disputed, as is much early phylogeny. Crassigyrinus scoticus is the third model available, which I am saving unpainted to show people about Shapeways technology. I was surprised by the 2-day delivery time. These were 3D printed in the Netherlands on Monday, and delivered to Minnesota today, Wednesday. The Easter Bunny came early this year in a UPS truck.

And yet here I am waiting to hear anything since the 14th!

Yes, sbell, 2 days delivery since printing, despite a few more inches of fresh snow here. We actually placed our orders on the same date, but there probably is a lag for processing. Your more remote location could add time for shipping. You should see the brown truck any time now.
I forgot to mention that I had trouble downloading the photo from Picasa. Something was different. I had to right click the photo, select properties, then copy the image location, and finally delete the letter s from https. Other members may have also had trouble.

I actually just got word today that they just started printing on mine. So it's going to be a little longer yet (10 days my foot), And I have mentioned the 's' issue before. I don't know when that changed.
