I think mine were lucky in not having been cancelled, so I got them sooner. Thanks Himmapaan. I'm planning on getting some of Angie's Lambeosaurs to have Martin make a dio out of, but that will have to wait. Since she had to make them a little more solid, the price had to go up as well. Pictures can only show so much, but do you think that these 1:50 white detail versions, show a good amount of detail? They do, and the details will show even clearer in a coloured material or when painted. I expect the Ultra Detail material will be even more superior yet. It would be interesting to see how these differ from the 1:40 scale too.

1:40 Dark Grey, Strong and Flexible I would have preferred Black Detail but unfortunately they aren't available in this material. I think I should have chosen WD.

Actually I must say I like the grey colour! Even though it's not as dark as I thought.

How is it that no one here has picked one of these up: store.makerbot.com/makerbot-thing-o-matic.htmland used it for dinosaurs (etc)? Judging by the photos, it produces objects in solid-colour plastics--you could start an Invicta-inspired line and everything! Or a sculptor that also gets a 3D scanner would now have a way to render and produce their sculpts instantly. Or a store could have them on-demand... This is crazy!

Just a quick look but it prints only about 4in by 4in (96 x 108 mm) which limits it . BTW, at Angie's site if you order the small new hadrosaurs, the white detail is cheaper than wsf by a lot. Even black and red strong flexible are cheaper. Cheapest yet is wsf polished which is almost half the price of wsf??? But the mediums and large aren't this way.

But that's still larger than many Shapeways figures. Plus, isn't everyone always complaining about needing small species, at 1/40 or 1/30, that are not commercially viable?

OK, I checked the rest of these...those pictures make them look good!!!!! Oh, I'm so happy for you guys that they printed well and I'm so proud of them. They look nice, I feel better now, lol! I'm sorry if they aren't printing in some materials and if some people have them sit in production longer than others. SW just varies by its nature and its tough to figure it out. Melissa, yeah. I have to do some work on those Oloros so they will print better and SW won't freak out. Its those darn shells. But I will let you know. Actually, seeing these makes me more confident now. I was freaking out they wouldn't print and you wouldn't like them Thank you for sharing!!!!! I'm so happy!!!!

I've been checking around at other sites on the print on demand thing. So far most are way more expensive than SW. But this is awesome. Hmmmm, I'll have to hunt down the price difference on the models. Its almost always to do with the shell and its hard to keep track of the different materials and what everything is doing. I'll look into it. I'm just glad to see most of it is printing. YES! Hey guys, thanks and I hope you like them. This gives me more confidence to make the others. How did I do on the anatomy and overall look, do you like them? On some materials the details will pop when you paint them. It just depends on the material. Thanks guys!!!

NEW ART that is WIP!!! Major WIP of a new painting I'm doing. Of course its another hadrosaur...I know, I know, lol!!! I need to tone down some of the middle ground to make it blend better, etc. And I'm trying to figure out the stupid legs. Anyway, what you think so far? And since these guys are online that means I can post them!!!! I painted the T Rex and the Eoraptors (had some help with the baby from a co-worker cuz we were trying to get them done in lightning speed) Yes, I am nuts, LOL!!! I love color and pattern! What do you think? I like that we got to do male and female versions. I'm starting to notice I painted to many things with white heads and black around the eyes. I never noticed I was doing that until now? JACK!!!!

You know Angie, I see this work and regret that I didn't have the budget at the T.rex Centre to get some work from you at the time; I bet you're more expensive now... But I still would like to discuss some things with you

Thanks for the Oloro status. Hey do you have pictures of the shunosaurus (shroomosaurus ;D)? I got a wonderful model of shuno from Galileo and I want to paint it like the shroom shuno. I'm even going to include the mushrooms in the diorama. ;D Lovely painting BTW

You might call it a WIP but shoot it looks almost finished to me...I love the mood..VERY sweet ! The white like red draws attention when the body is darker..perfectly natural I think. That first pic should be called " What was that !? " lol... and of course...NOBODY messes with JACK !! ;D
