Very long time! Maybe, for the bulk of the collection, 7 years and lots of $$$$ later

That 4th figure in the lower level is a camarasaurus. He is really not a "toy" figure, more of a sculpture. I'm not entirely sure if he is part of a mass produce line of cheap imported sculpture or a custom made figure ( if you look close you can see he has a broken leg that I glued. The material is like plaster, which make me think that he could actually be a custom made figure). He was one of my first ebay dinosaur purchase way back, well before Safari had a Camara figure, when I was building up my sauropod collection. I included him in the group for sentimental reason. Cool figure. No wonder I couldn't recognize it Cool find WIsh I had a collection like yours, but I've focused more on amphibians, arthropods and fishes

Figures that did not make it in the first photo ops. The prosauropods and a few others and two really big ones from Chap Mei and Thunderbeast line. Unfortunately, the big Brachi's back gear can't be taken out, it has a tube protruding in the back if taken out [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7306794.jpg"

What brand are the two prosauropods in the left picture bottom right and are they suppose to be plateosaurus?

Yes, both are plateosaurus. I think they are both by Bullyland. The standing one (already retired) is the original model and the other one is the newest one.

Ah, those little guys . The plateo with spots is the Salvat one. The little green one is a camarasaurus from the Kaiyodo Dinoland series (yes, the same figure that just recently went for outrageous price on ebay!), and the last one is the Playvision diplodocus ( I think it's from the museum line they did with the AMNH). Oh yes, the Chap mei and TB are HUGE guys ! Thats one of the reason I did not include them in the original photo op.

The brachy disappointed me when I took its gear off.
There's always ...tools for that.

Really? If you take of the gear, like I did initially, a big tube sticks out and if you cut it a hole you will have a big hole right on top. Let me know if you have any ideas, I'm really not that crazy with all those gear things.

I cut the tube away from mine with an exacto, touched the area up with a dremmel, and then with a little paint. I think he looks pretty good that way.

I bet you can't wait for the beautiful new Brachiosaur from Safari, eh? Or the Nigersaurus. Man... I love Sauropods. Are you kidding me? I am literally drooling here! I have already started a savings jar for next years releases! I can't wait to see the new Safari and Brachio and Nigersaurus! They look so beautiful! I am dying to see what other sauropod figures 2009 have to offer. I love sauropods; it's what got me started collecting dinosaur figures ;D I just love the big size and diversity of all the figures. I am praying to all the dinosaur gods that none of the scheduled 2009 releases will fall victim to the tanking economy

For boki to aspire to: the new Kinto Desktop Brachiosaurus: Their tails look a tad too long. It is neat however that they went with the theory that Brachs held there heads lower then what first was thought.

Yeah, now even Brachios couldn't lift their heads,eh? Now,what's next? They will say that Tyrannosaurs lived on trees and Mosasaurs could fly out of the water using their flippers like those flying fishes? ;D ;D

For boki to aspire to: the new Kinto Desktop Brachiosaurus: stares and dreams about the figures.............. I like it, I still don't have any Kinto desktop model figures. I have been agonizing for a long time now about buying the desktop Amarga, it looks so beautiful! It's just way too expensive with shipping For a sauropod fan, this is just torture! It is the only figure from the line I really would buy if I had the $$ ( the price range from $60 - 100 without shipping! ). sad Boki
