The amargasaurus is wonderful and exquisitely detailed--though it is actually smaller than the Procon deluxe agustinia. It's now out of production though, sadly

I will never forgive myself if I never get to acquire that amarga! I guess I better (Gulps!) bring out that evil credit card! Hey, would you be able to post a picture of it next to the procon agustinia? They are my favorite sauropods ;D Yah, long necks with spikes is my thing ;D ;D ;D

Which company is that one made by? With Pilty gone, we may need someone else to tell us.

The grainy, bumpy skin is a giveaway. Kinto tends to do that with their figures.

Speaking of those, I wish kinto would make more of them, and have them be a little more affordable.

(I believe like 20) I only have the Parasaurolophus, Pteranodon, Apatosaurus, and Pachycephalosaurus. Yes, it is the Kinto desktop Amarga model. The Favorite collection is Kinto's attempt of making a more "affordable" line of figures that are actually toys and not models. Sadly the entire line is now out of production. They are getting harder to find, although there are still some left over stock floating around. If you are really interested in acquiring some you better get on it while you can... pretty soon those models price will skyrocket! I don't have the entire set, but the ones I really like I managed to get. The only one is the Brachi, it is expensive at $23 for such a small figure. I am sure I will eventually get it (waits till panic kicks in ;D). Update! So the panic I was talking about? Well, it kicked in alright! ;D I placed an order for one desktop Amarga! I had to scramble and find a buyer for some of my extra figures. Looks like I will be parting ways with my Battat MIB pachy, one mini Battat galli, a loose WWD T-rex to help pay off my Amara purchase. The Dinosaur Farm is by far the cheapest place to get them. Here are some links where you can still get those Favorite Kinto figures: astore.amazon.com/dinoshop-20?%5Fencoding=UTF8&node=11And the DF for the desktop models: www.dinosaurfarm.com/dincol.htmlAyayayayyy!

I meant the toy ones, not the models. They have all of them in stock, including the Brachio for only $20.

My Kinto desktop Amarga! Exquisite models indeed ;D It's highly detailed and textured. The spikes on his back is made out of some kind of "flexible" material, making it less likely to break easily. I included two additional photo of it with other figures to give a better idea of size. The Kinto models, both the desktop and soft play figures are fast disappearing unfortunately. Many of the desktop models are now discontinued including all of the sauropods! So if you want and can afford to invest in one, best to do it soon. The Dinosaur Farm is still the cheapest place to get the desktop models,l they average around $60 instead of $100! [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7307330.jpg" As he compares with the soft play Kinto Favorite Apato and the Procon deluxe Agustinia figure. [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7307331.jpg" Now we have here the Cammara that I commissioned teton to repaint for me in exchange for figures. I tried not to give Teton "instructions" at all even when he was asking me ;D I just told him I like stripes ;D I am very pleased by the resulting figure ;D The figure really looks better in person than in the photos teton showed me. He is able to bring out the skin details and textures. The blending of colors is pretty good, it look really smooth. The head is well repainted, he was able to add more life to it. It must have been a pain trying to paint those eyes and teeth! [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7307336.jpg" Here he is compared to the original cammara figures.
