Same here. I don't think I've ever seen one depicted like that. Can't wait to see it fleshed out? What do you think the cost will be?

The CollectA T.rex is in a not dissimilar crouched pose, though people have tended to be rather lurid with their imagination regarding its precise action...
This is far superior to the CollectA though. And far less likely to inspire said luridness!

But the Collecta one is roaring. Or whatever you want it to be doing.

But the Collecta one is roaring. Or whatever you want it to be doing. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be marking it's territory. There. Now that image will invade people's minds instead. You're welcome.

The angle in pic three could be my favorite.
You know..the way it's positioned aside from stalking...also looks like it could be getting attacked from it's right. I mean just imagine your previous T-Rex coming in at her like that. ;D

Arioch mentioned the subject of lips regarding T.Rex in another thread- I tried to answer for myself the question regarding lips or no lips on theropods recently and found that there are very adamant voices on both sides of the fence on this issue- I did get this drawing showing a T.Rex skull with the jaws closed done by Tracy Ford- I did not find any photos that show a totally closed skull so it is sort of trusting this drawing to conclude that lips on T.Rex seem very unlikely, unless you manipulate the physical aspects of the skull to accommodate them- for example look at the distance from the lower jaw tip to the tip of the upper jaw in the side view, and the distance the upper teeth are from the lower jaw in the view from below-again this is based on the drawing that I say this, as I have no access to a real skull to close the jaw, or a cast- it seems all mounts to be found online show the jaws open- but for now I will keep making my theropods without lips,

If those drawings are correct, it is very amazing. I didn't realize rex had such long teeth! I am still very supportive though of the idea of a "lips" covering at least some way down the teeth. I.e., the teeth not being completely exposed like in crocs. That is my personal preference though.

Yeah its hard to say for certain about lips- it all comes down to personal preference I think for now although there are those who declare it a done deal- again these images are only drawings, but I trust Tracy Ford to have made fairly accurate drawings from the skull-I found online paleos on both sides declare outright certainty on both sides of the issue- my own non scientific opinion is that they probably did not have any lips- I have read that dinos closest relatives are crocs and birds, neither of which have lips (which is a very simplistic logic I know) , and therapods replaced their teeth with new ones, sort of like sharks so the need for lips to protect them isnt urgent. The major claim by the side that says they have lips is the presence of rows of holes running just above and below the 'gumline' which is claimed were access channels for nerves and blood vessels supplying the lips. My problem with that argument is that mammals, who have major lips, either have no such holes or maybe one or two holes in the lower jaws, and you can see such holes on the tips of bills of duck skulls , so maybe these holes have nothing to do with lips at all on therapods. The main thing the clinches it for me are the teeth of therapods and how long a lot of them are and how they dont meet in the way mammls or even lizard teeth do to make room for lips, wit hthe lower jaw going up into the upper roof of the mouth the way therapods do- anyways just my opinion, do not wantto start the whole lips no lips argument again-just has been on my mind recently, and had spent much time online trying to get answers for myself-
