Just seen the new episode, very entertaining. Honestly the appearance of Allosaurus, Camptosaurus, Stegosaurus and Saurophaganax surprised me, I hadn't seen any promo images of them. The scene with the Allosaurus hunting the Camptosaurus in the field full of termite mounds was really tense.
The Predator X stuff was a bit meh, but I certainly preferred it to Walking with Dinosaurs Liopleurodon.

Also, don't be shy, say what you think, I won't bite Only the plesiosaurs bite... *chorus of groans* My verdict's already up. chasmosaurs.blogspot.com/2011/10/planet-dinosaur-episode-four-review.html Enjoyed it overall, a few iffy anatomical aspects of the dinosaurs aside (the Stegosaurus was a bit dump). Didn't want to say much on the plesiosaurs. Thought I'd leave that to the so-called 'experts'.

After seeing this program, one realizes how freaking great the Dinosaur Revolution models were. Not like those are bad at all, but certainly quite bland, unstylish and conservative in terms of colours and soft tissues compared to that ones. Only the textures seem to be slightly superior to the DR counterparts. (And the animation is equally off, but it seems to improve in both shows latest episodes, anyway...like they were reserving most of the budget for the big end)

Thanks Arioch! I thought the textures and rendering on PD looked nice too. Anyway, in the near future I'll be putting up a bunch of my Dino Rev models on my websites.

I'd love to see that! I thought the DR models were spectacular. Though I thought Angie said the models and textures and such belonged to Discovery and you couldn't post pics of them without permission. Do they?

Well, I've finally finished watching all six episodes and am now wondering if they will ever play here in the States. Anyone heard anything yet? Also, has anyone heard about a DVD release date yet? And if it will also be available here in the States? I would love to see these in Hi-Def instead of only the less than stellar quality on YouTube. Although, a HUGE thanks goes out to those who were able to upload these episodes on YouTube. At least I got to see them at all!
