This was the only pic of the Brachio I saw. It's nice to finally have a close-up shot of it.
I do think I would prefer darker colors..bring out more detail and look more realistic i think.

Nice close-up of the Brachi! You know I was thinking, if anyone thinks the greens and red are too bright, you could do a dark shade of brown wash over the whole thing. Then just rub off as much as you want. It would def bring out the creases better too on the real light areas. I'm going to wait till I see it in person to make up my mind, but I'm thinking towards doing this.

Are the rereleaced Bullyland mammals going to look look different than the old ones? I hope they aren't made of that plastic that scuffs easialy.

The new papo rex looks like a cross between the one from King Kong and Primeval.

Nice picture. I wonder why the heads are so different on tje new perching one but not the running one. I think your asking why the heads of the two new Rexes are different right ? Well you have my explanation..lol but really I figure it's an artistic call..probably made to make him look different or meaner even..hard to say what they were thinking exactly. I do believe the lower jaw could be replaced by the old green version if one decided to..after receiving it and looking it over I decided it didn't bother so me so much. It does look a LOT like the V-Rex when you compare the two though..kinda like the love child of a JP Rex and a V-Rex from Kong. lol ;D

I like the papo green rex's more and more, honestly kind of tired of looking at brown tyranno's.

Aaarggh, I wasn't considering that brown Papo T. rex when I thought it was 'just a paint variation'...but the detailing really is much nicer.

Looks like they redid the entire old TRex head - makes sense since the head is attached to the body along a seam - if you look at the figure closely. So they still use the old body, but they re-did the entire head - the lower jaws different and shinner in the back - more accurate than the old one, the teeth are sharper, and the skin detailing - which was missing on the old one - is awesome - its a shame they had to repeat that "egg-laying" pose!

its a shame they had to repeat that "egg-laying" pose! Indeed. I'd rather the new one had this head and the old squatting body was ditched. The new one is one of the few dino toys with articulated jaws that I much prefer with the mouth shut... Oh well! So it goes.

Yeah - when the new one opens its mouth it ceases to look like Trex - with the mouth close its very good, except for the slightly too heavy lower jaw ...

I think the body actually looks a bit better as well on the new brown Rex. I also think it is possible to switch the lower jaws on the striding and perching Rexes..it won't be 100% perfect when closed but open it will look fine .

Thanks for the pics, Chris! Looks like the new repainted brown fig also has a bit different mold for the head. Here are some things I've spotted that are a little different on the new repainted brown Rex:The back of the lower jaw is more streamline. -- Not as deep. The detailed line behind its eye is a different shape. The eyes also look to be a bit more rounded. The teeth are much sharper and nicer looking! Overall, it looks to have a bit better/sharper skin detailing. Although I like the color blends of the original green fig better, this new repainted fig def has some pluses! I'm getting all the new Papo Rexes. I have these two reserved. Just waiting for the two juveniles to ship altogether. ;D
