oohh lovely! Are the colors inspired by any particular living bird? Sort of reminds me of a downy woodpecker.

Haha that's awesome, Libra I noticed an error in that drawing though, some time later, I'd like to take another crack at it someday And thanks Griffin! The colours aren't modeled after any specific bird, but I had emu chicks and hairy woodpeckers in mind ^_~

Nothing too special here, but this is a Ceratosaurus head I did for James Gurney's Envelope Art Contest... I have two more pieces I've finished recently, but I can't post those online until June 20th or they will be disqualified from a separate contest. So you will have to wait!

Neat. I like the subtle details like the eyelid being half closed and the broken tooth.

I recently scanned a picture I did in 2nd or 3rd grade, I'm not sure... and took a photograph of another picture I'd done in 1st grade I guess when I was a kid I drew momma dinosaurs with babies crawling over them - I suppose that was my 'thing' ;D This is the later one: This is the one from 1st grade (1991), I actually won first place in the Clackamas County Fair with it, and a special judges award Go figure! It's been in that frame since '91, at my parent's house. Maybe I can get an actual scan someday ;D Thought you guys might like these!

I found out the results of the III International Contest of Scientific Illustrations of Dinosaurs tonight, I didn't win - but taking a look at the illustrations that DID win, I realize now I had absolutely no chance ;D But that's okay I'm still very happy with my drawings I submitted, one of which (the Iguanodon) has to be my personal best. Here's the Baryonyx walkeri I did: And my Iguanodon fittoni: Hope you guys like them

If you are interested in seeing the winners, visit this blog: fundaciondinosaurioscyl.blogspot.com/2011/06/el-jurado-del-iii-concurso.html It's in Spanish so if you can't understand it, the Demandasaurus placed first, the Balaur placed second, then the Concavenator placed third. You can see the rest of the entries who did not place if you click the thumbnail of the Demandasaurus at the bottom of that entry!
